If you've got some time to kill, it's definitely worth your time to take a stroll through. It's a lovely mall, with a small waterway running through it. An outdoor mall actually, not your typical suburban indoor mall. Lots of stores to look through, lots of people to watch, lots of places for snacks or coffee. There's a wonderful (massive) souvenir store at one end, with a pretty good variety of stuff. There are a lot of activities attached to the mall (which I didn't have time for). It's clean, it's attractive, it's a very pleasant experience. And if you've got a young person with you (like I did), there's more than enough brand name stores to keep their interest. I'm not a big time shopper, but I liked this mall, and I always recommend it to others who are going to Cancun. Really easy to get to by bus !

It's a regular mall that I can visit in Socal. There's nothing special and everything was overpriced...more so than what I can find at malls in Socal. I guess if you don't have a mall around your area, this could be a time killer, but walking through here I felt like I was in Socal rather than Mexico.

My friend got ice cream here at Haagen Daz...$8 for 2 scoops! Way too expensive. Plus their supermarket/deli/pharmacy they had there only had chips, alcohol, and drinks...it felt like I was in a gas station store. Here you're paying for the location more than anything. Better deals and food can be had elsewhere, but it is convenient if you don't want to go to downtown Cancun.

I visited La Isla last year while in Cancun with my daughter and other seniors on a Grad Week trip.

It's a really pretty open-air mall, with canals and bridges throughout. Many of the same stores we have here in the U.S.

It's a nice place to hang out, window shop, people watch, and/or spend a little money.

This was a pretty interesting place to go look around. They had a lot of cool stuff. Some of it a bit pricey though, not a good place to get cheap souvenirs, but a good place to shop for yourself. LOL
