I presented my reservation, they went to see that my room was ready.The man said your room is ready.I was taken up to the room, and instantly I knew why those agents had me pay in full in advance.I would have asked for my deposit back.There was no TV and no running water.I went to the desk and asked, they place a TV but did not even hook it up.The water came about an hour later.It seems as if water was turned off at about 12 noon to 2pm or 3pm.It happened about 4 of my 7 days that I just happened to be in the room
at that time on those days.
There is no working telephone in the room.You must call from a public phone out in the street.
By 7am for the duration of my stay I had jack hammers going next door. They claimed they were renovating.
I wish I knew that before.I have been to 3star hotels in the Dominican Republic that makes this place look like a dump.The place is falling apart. I really did not expect this much deception from agents and owners,in Cancun.I will always read the reviews before I book.The only good thing about this place is the location.It's a shame.

negatives: the first night, we found that our room was infected with thousands of these tiny little bugs. We also found pubic hair and more different kinds of bugs dead in the bed sheets. our room also had no hot water. We did not feel safe there at night due to poor lighting. The AC was broken. There is also no beach. Even though we paid our deposit in dollars, they gave it back to us in the end in PESOS. And b/c the currency exchane is weak, we got ripped off. we tried to dispute it with no avail.

we then complained and they switched us to anohter room. it still had bugs (horrible!!!) but the a/c was working and so was the hot water. the breakfast buffet is actually pretty decent. but it was annoying b/c everyime we'd go up, the man behind the buffet would tap his tip cup repeatedly. and as we were sitting and eating, he kept on hitting it and looking at everyone pointedly.

bottom line, dont go here :). it's scary. we ended up spending most of our nights at the much nicer friends that our friends were fortunately put in. the location is not that great and far from the strip as well.

This place was, without overstating, a disgrace to Cancun. It should be shut down and sued. We arrived there, having booked to stay there for a week, to be told by the man at reception that they had no reservation for us, despite me showing him the receipt.I had to wait an hour before the manager decided to show up, who told me the same thing, that there were no rooms left, and then refused to speak to me. We eventually had to contact Airtours who had to find us alternate accomodation, but we were then told we could stay there for one night.DIRTY, DUSTY ROOM, BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING, AWFUL SMELL, GLASS IN THE POOL, UNCOOKED FOOD, RIPPED BED, all made it a 'wonderful' place.

Awful service!!! never had clean sheets put on our bed during the whole week, they stole our ENTIRE groups deposit and said "they couldnt find it"... over 2,000$... rooms were infested with insects, no drinks inside the compound policy, lunch was about 6$ a plate for the worst food you've ever had and the beds were about as soft as a stone.
SERIOUSLY, take my opinion to heart and go somewhere else!!!
