This restaurant was a pleasant surprise, stumbled upon by accident. It is located upstairs next to the aquarium in the La Isla Mall, and it seems to be part of the same ownership, along with the good but pricey Thai and Indian restaurants at the mall. We did not try dinner, but we did eat lunch once and breakfast three times. Very tasty, and not expensive. If you sit on the bridge or by the railing, you can watch the dolphins in the pools below. For lunch, both the burrito (better than in the States) and hamburger were very good, and the totopos (tortilla chips) were hot and the tastiest we have had. We’ve tried 4 different breakfasts, and all were very good. Breakfasts (10-12 am) are fixed price ($136.5 pesos, I think) and include a fruit plate, juice (freshly squeezed), coffee, and tortillas or toast. The scrambled egg casserole is especially tasty, and the huevos Motulenos are not bad either, nor is the seafood omelet. TripAdvisor rates the restaurant in the top third of those in Cancun. My feeling is that it could be rated higher, especially on a value-to-price scale.
