“Don't miss Savio's if you enjoy great food at reasonable prices topped by an overall fabulous dining experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2011

We have been to Cancun at least a dozen times on vacation. Good food at the end of a great day is always on our agenda. It's pretty easy to find really good Mexican food in Cancun but if you need a break from that cuisine and enjoy Italian food - Savio's is the place to get it. The menu has enough variety to lure you back again. The food is excellent - the atmosphere is warm and inviting, soft music is usually playing in the background. If you go on a Friday night you can enjoy live music. We enjoyed a wonderful jazz payer who made our night even more wonderful! The service is great, the food is fabulous, reasonably priced and the atmosphere perfect . No better way to wind down a day in Cancun then with a wonderful dining experience. For sure we will go back!

“So many other better restaurants...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2011

We tried this restaurant based on TA. I should have looked more closely at each of the five star reviews. There are a lot of reviewers with only one - three postings. When you use TA as much as I do you know not to pay attention to those. There were four of us that ate here. The only reason I gave it three stars is because we did like the appetizers and the service was good. And sitting outside by the lagoon is very nice. But we did not like our main dishes or desserts. And I tried the boquinete puff pastry dish (which is recommended by "reviewers") and it definitely wasn't as good as other Cancun restaurants. And it was pricey! With so many other great restaurants around I felt like I lost out on a good dinner that night. Maybe it was an off night. It doesn't matter to me. I won't be going back. And beware their exchange rate when they convert to US$ on the bill.

Dear FoodLoverValpo

I just rerad your comment on TA and I like to apologize for not been at the level of your expectations base on other reviews, I was at Savio´s last Monday night but unfortunately I did´t notice that you where not happy with the Boquinete DV.
I also check this morning the exchange rate that varies almost every day and we try to be always fair.
If you still in Cancún I will like to have the opportunity to meet you and invite you for a complimentary dinner, I hope you will give us a second chance to make things right.

Saludos

“Yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

Had such a nice time here. Very romantic. We had a great waiter (a bit flirty) but that was the funny part. The food was out of this world. The homemade pasta , the white sauce and chicken was to dye for.

“A MUST EAT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

While in Cancun, we picked up a magazine "Dos Gringos". We took the advice and had lunch at Savio's then we had dinner there with other hotel guests the next night. Who would have thought to travel to Mexico for the most fabulous Italian food. When anyone asks our 9 year old son the best part about Cancun he says the food and that Savio's is his favorite restaurant. Savio's, you have a loyal customer for life! WE can't wait to return to Mexico and dine with you. If you are reading this, stop and just go and eat for yourself. You won't be sorry. Everything is good. Pasta is perfection and the lobster is to die for. Service is just as fabulous as the food. You can see our picture of us dinning water front for lunch at Savio's.
Enjoy!
