This was my 4th experience with Freds, Nautilus, etc.....it's a complicated thing....These people do their best to keep you upright, alive, and enjoying your surroundings.....from total rookies to experience divers.....all are welcomed, and all are handled according to their needs.....I asked to go along on one of their afternoon dives, knowing it was a shallow dive, and that's what I needed for a refresher dive....and got what I needed/wanted...and saw some real rookies being taken care of like little puppies, and in the end, the novice divers stated that they would love to come back for more dives......so.....that seals it in my mind.......if an operation can take someone out for their first experience in something, and to have the customer state that they will be back for more.....Salute! We had such a great experience at scuba freds! They were very nice and friendly. Clemente was our guide and we loved him! He was very funny and informational. Will definitly go back there our next trip to cancun.

I originally went to Scuba Fred's for a beginner lesson to try diving for the first time, on the recommendation of a relative. Then I went again for the same the year after. I had such a brilliant time on both occasions that I decided to go for the full certification with them this year. Really friendly folks, remarkably professional, patient, serious but relaxed and relaxing, explaining things very clearly and as many times as necessary. They make you understand (and give you confidence in) your own self, your equipment, and your surroundings. The dives are awe-inspiring, with an extremely abundant, beautiful and colourful wildlife, in dream waters. And every time it is so obvious that the folks at Scuba Fred's love their job and diving that their enthusiasm is very contagious! Scuba Fred's has become home, and an unmissable stop every time I am in Cancun.

I have been diving with Scuba Fred's for four years and I have never had any problems. The crew is very hands on and very friendly. They make sure that you are comfortable with everything before they take you into the ocean and they are always willing to accomodate your schedule. I just recently got back from Cancun and I took my Padi certification with them and it was fantastic. They make sure you understand what you are learning before you learn something else. It is also great for divers who have little or no experience. They really do take care of you. I will definetly be back!
