“Great location, not very clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

Came here as out tour starts here. Great location in central cancun easy to walk to eateries and shop.
Basic rooms provided with nice common pool
Downside is rooms aren't as clean as they could be- dust on table and mould in showers.
Also disco next door goes till about 3 am so unless you are a heavy sleeper you will stay awake till the wee hours of the morning.
Next time i'd probably stay a block away at the lonely planet rated cheap accommodation.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. The room was basic, but very clean. Breakfast was included...juice, coffee, tea cereal and rolls. There is a small pool. It was very quiet. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy. The location is fabulous and we could walk everywhere and the buses run constantly and take you throughout the city. The prices in El Centro are much more reasonable than in the hotel zone.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We stayed here for one night because it was the beginning of our tour but we were very thankful we'd checked on Trip Advisor beforehand and stayed elsewhere for the previous few nights before our tour began. The room was dark and dank, musty smelling and the sheets were well worn with lumpy pillows. Not to be recommended.

Room Tip: I don't think there were any! Ours certainly had nothing to recommend it.

Stayed here as part of our tour.
Good location in regards to main ADO bus station but that's it. Rooms dirty, old, poorly maintained, included breakfast a joke. Cold showers, worn linen, lumpy pillows. Next to a nightclub, loud music all night. People even booked other hotels on our tour so they didn't have to stay there.stay away!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2011 via mobile

Just 4 blocks from the bus station so well located for downtown cancun. Staff were relatively helpful and allowed early check in. Only reason I stayed there was because my tour around Mexico started there. Very basic hotel, basic rooms and noisy at night due to being next to a bar and a club. Tried to change rooms although nothing happened about that. Very stuffy at night as air conditioning was not working. Don't bother with the included breakfast which was very poor.

my brother david, sent me to his favorite spot in cancun for my 60th birthday. i had a suite and 20 of my fam. and friends joined me!! everything was great!! basically we had the place to ourselves. with 3 kids in tow, the pool was ours. outdoor tables from hotel resturant was where the guys enjoyed themselves as some of us enjoyed the pool. steps away from EVERYTHING, the perfect spot. my brother david has known the carrillos family for over 12 years. we were more than pleased, due to the great srevice from their front desk manager RENEE ( speaks excellent english). tip him well, it like being at home and a very wonderful mexican experience. char from chicago.
