This 'resort' if all-inclusive, which basically just means that meals and drinks are included in price. The meals were simple, but good and adequate, and the people were pretty nice. I met a lot of Europeans at this place. I would recommend the hotel if you're planning on doing a lot of sightseeing outside of the place. It's not nice enough to spend all your time in. My main complaints were these: you had to pay for internet (that was not very good) and there was no wireless at all, the safe in my room was non-functional, and I could not lock my balcony which made me nervous that someone could break it. I only spent two days there, and it was adequate for my needs. Next time though, I'm staying at a hostel and taking a bus to the public beach.

I guess this hotel would be ok if all you came to cancun for was partying and all you needed was a bed. The food was awful. No bottled water. No elevators. The beach wasnt the pretty water that cancun is famous for, it was more like a dock with a lot of seaweed and sand full of rocks. The staff was ok, that was probably the only ok thing about this hotel. I actually only stood here with my friends for one night and then we switched to the Flamingo cancun.

I absolutely loved this hotel and the staff. All the staff were so friendly and could not do enough to please the guests. Me and my friend got to know all the staff.
The food was buffet style or you could order snacks, which is perfect to cater for all tastes. The food was gorgeous!
The bar staff miguel and eusabio were so friendly and would make any cocktail imaginable! And miguel will no doubt entertain anyone with a game of diminoes!
The room was cleaned daily.
The buses run right outside the hotel every 5 mins 24 hours.
The animation staff, kevin and emir were so welcoming and took us on some amazing nights out to the local night clubs....Buy the wristbands from these guys as they can get great deals!
Our travel rep orlando got us some great deals on the tours also so i would recommend getting day trips etc from orlando.
Overall its the best holiday ive EVER been on! And i am definately going back next year!

My husband and our two friends when there in June. This was our first time in Mexico and were so looking forward to it. What a disappointment. The rooms were clean but the first room we were offered was pretty dated but we got changed to nice rooms overlooking the beach. That was the nice part. The restaurant was dirty, lights very dull, you could hardly see what you were eating. just as well maybe. The food wasn.t very warm and although a few choices not very good. Barmen were nice but the place wasn't kept tidy, ashtray was plastic cup with water in it, drinks served in plastic cups. Hotel is small so you got to know most of the guests. Clean rooms but unless you can eat almost anything go to another hotel, worth paying a bit extra. Friends staying at the Barcello Costa invited us to visit, it was night and day.
