“Don't stay here for free wi-fi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Had a great room with a jacuzzi bath. Ate amazing omelets for breakfast, had French and Seafood dinner really good! The bus came and dropped right in front of the resort for 10 pesos per person per trip BUT, the hotel had no complementary wi-fi and charged something like $150 a day (no joke). Nice pool, fun activities, easy beach access, and great for families.

This has to be one of the best Resorts I have ever been to. It is a five star in every manner of the word. The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was amazing, and this was probably the only resort on our stretch of the beach where the staff was constantly putting on shows for the amusement of the guests 24/7. The buffet was delicious!! The other restaurants were pretty sad though...dont bother getting reservations for those. This is a family oriented hotel, so you are likely to find people there with their families looking to do family oriented things. If you want something that is more singles oriented and caters to the nightlight enthusiast then look down the road.

The hotel is massive and one can always find something to do here. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful and the unlimited food and drinks really just puts a cherry on the cake.

All in all...I hope to return here with my friends someday and relive the memories. 11/10

Room Tip: The swimsuit shop on the hotel premise has mobile recharges, so you dont need to go to OXXO

Very much a family orientated resort. 2 towers, 3 lifts in each tower with 7 floors. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily to a high standard. Food very samey but you certainly won't starve, you can eat 24/7, literally. Actually wouldn't bother with the 'speciality' restaurants, we went to Wayne's Boots and Los Gallos, salt, salt and more salt. Now craving English food! Buses are $1 USD OR 10 pesos to go anywhere, adult or child. You're not stuck here. Shame there aren't any outside bars and, disappointingly the adults only pool, Trafalgar bar and the night club weren't finished. Lack of seating in the last couple of days and a sunbed hunt this morning as the hotel nears capacity for Xmas.
The kids are generally well behaved, sadly the parents sometimes let them down!
We had to use the doctor who is on the premises, he was lovely, very clean, dose of antibiotics and a recheck the next day had my son back on his feet. $135 USD for the visit plus medication which he had on site. Very quick and efficient, good to know if you need a doctor.
Great kids pool for 4-12 year olds, they can sign themselves in and out if you give permission and its supervised. There's also an 'indoor' pool which is great if it's cloudy.
Lots to do and an overall great holiday, I'd just change the food a bit, but hey, it's not the end of the world and they are super creative.
You get free wifi with
Thomas Cook, but dear God it would be quicker sending a carrier pigeon. It takes forever to download something like Facebook or emails, if it works at all. Sooo slow

Room Tip: We stayed in 1423, 4th floor, ocean view and far enough away from the lobby bar not to be too noisy...

This holiday was a few years ago in August but I really do hope to return some day. It was a family holiday and there was loads to do for adults and children alike, we stayed for two weeks and we all agree that this wasn't long enough to enjoy all to this beautiful hotel and area. We went on some of the trips and even though we enjoyed every second of them it was peace of mind we were returning to that hotel at the end of them. Faultless.

The problem with trip advisor is that you get so many conflicting reports about hotels and resorts because the people writing the reviews are so different and have different expectations. My family (me 39, wife 38, son 12 and daughter 10) just returned from a one week vacation at the Crown Paradise Club resort in Cancun Mexico - Dec10-17. We are your average middle class family that goes on vacation once a year. We were looking for a nice facility with good amenities and this hotel fit the bill. After a full week I really can't see how anyone could possibly have valid complaints about this property. The food was very good at the buffet and the 3 a la carte restaurants we tried. We never once got hassled by time share people in the lobby or on the beach. The beach does have vendors walking up and down occasionally asking if you want to buy cigars/sunglasses/blankets but leave you alone once you say no. I'm not the kind of person that really gets to know the bartenders or staff when I'm on holiday but they were all fantastic. Although we did tip the staff I never got the impression it was expected - not once. The beach is beautiful although the water is quite choppy on windy days. The property is currently going through some renovations - mostly touch up paint - but that was not even noticeable. I do know that some areas of the hotel - nightclub - were under construction and closed and perhaps if your room was in the vicinity of that you might have a different opinion. Our room was on the 2nd floor of the main tower and just above the lobby. Due to the night club being closed most people seemed to gather at the lobby bar which would become pretty noisy at night as the sound echoes throughout the open concept lobby. The noise was usually not an issue after 11 pm. I just read a review that said there was loud music coming from the pool until 2am?! Our room overlooked the pool and considering that the pool was closed at 7pm I'm not sure that review was entirely accurate. The pool water was really cold - I mean really really cold. The ocean was warmer so we spent most of our days on the beach. It's true that while we were there the adults only pool, the water slides, rock climbing and zip line were all closed for maintenance but there was still so much more to do that it didn't bother us - even the kids didn't mind. It was our first time bringing our kids to an all inclusive and we got exactly the experience we were hoping for. The food was good, the entertainment was good, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The check in procedure was a little slow but I think that it just seems that way because you've spent your entire day travelling and just want to get to your room and tour the grounds. My only complaint - and its minor - but should be addressed as I heard many people complaining and frustrated by it would be the elevators. I had read that they were slow but they were good for the first 3 days....and then one stopped working and it became a little bit of an inconvenience. But if the elevators are your only complaint then it must be a great place, and it is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good family vacation! There is so much to do in Cancun. My wife, kids and I took the bus into town on a couple of occasions for excursions and felt completely safe the entire time.

This place looked out of this world and write up made it seem 100% whilst it is a nice hotel, rooms dated although clean - be careful our brochure said "sea view" we got put out the back looking out onto a dilapidated hotel and had to stay put for 3 days before we got exchanged. Food was nice but repetitive as are most "AI hotels" not many seating places for the evening which was a shame and nothing much to do of an evening either.
Back to the food had a terrible meal in the Italian, was cold and portions so small even my 8 year old was left hungry - Chinese was nice although only open during lunch times.
Staff lovely, pleasant and helpful which was nice and tip the bar staff a few $ and they will bring drinks to the pool for you :-)
