“What a relaxing place to stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2011

We stayed at the Le Blanc Spa resort from January 22-29th, and we had a wonderful time. The service there was impeccable. I've never been so spoiled in my life. Any thing you would need, you have there at Le Blanc. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, close to shopping, all inclusive drinks and food. The service was fantastic...We used the spa, and had the full body scrub, massage, and manicure, and pedicure, and facial too. Couldn't have been more wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing get away. Five stars from me...

We just returned from a week at le Blanc Spa, our first visit to Cancun. We had high expectations based on having read many very complimentary reviews and we weren't disappointed! The hotel is beautiful and immaculate. The setting is gorgeous. The service was consistently excellent. The overall consistency of the entire experience was impressive to us. Our butlers couldn't have been better -- ready to do anything we needed and very pleasant. The one area where we disagree with some reviewers is the food. We had moderate expectations for the food and were not disappointed. The food was consistently good and the variety of alternatives was amazing, but it wasn't great or excellent. Our favorite was the oriental restaurant. Our least positive experience was in the Italian restaurant, where a pasta dish was badly overcooked and the Caesar salads and tiramisu's were very creative, but not as good as the traditional dishes. Creativity is good, but they should be better than the originals. As an example of their service orientation, my wife became ill just after we arrived (no fault of the hotel and nothing really serious) and needed a doctor. The hotel had a doctor in our room within 2 hours and coordinated medication delivery to our room quickly and effortlessly. We have stayed at many of the best hotels around the U.S. over the years, and le Blanc equals and often exceeds our experiences with them. We definitely plan to return.

We have been to cancun many times but have always found hotels to be very much the same. We booked a mini break after reading a recommendation by nick smith (http://www.travelroads.com/article/id_2236) and he was once again spot on! Its night and day in comparison to dreams, ritz and me resorts when you consider luxury, quality of food and drinks which is really unusual for an all inclusive. We only booked four nights to see what it would be like but are now counting down the days to a two week vacation in a couple of months!!!

Independent of the the beautiful location (turquoise water, white shimmering sand, sparkling infinity pools), amazing amenities, wide variety of delicious food and exotic drinks, this resort is best described by the three words used to title this review (Service, Service, Service!!!!). Addressing and even anticipating your every need with friendly professionalism, it is the staff who make this resort a truly wonderful and memorable experience. All of the staff were amazing and we would love to list each of them; however, as that is not possible, we give a representative thank-you to Maribel ( pool), Alan (dining room ), Mario (butler), and Carlos (the exuberant, welcoming voice on the other end of the hospitality service line). Special mention to the young lady who worked so dilgently providing ice buckets, water and fruit to patrons at the pool.

Le Blanc is quite simply the best resort that we have stayed in to date. Throughout the entire trip, one of us could be heard repeating the same sentiment--"I can't believe this place!!!!!

If you are looking for a serene, relaxing vacation in paradise--come to LeBlanc!!!!

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our anniversary at Le Blanc Spa Resort. After the first evening, we truly wished we were staying longer. Everything you've read about the food, service, and accommodations are all true - top notch. The tips that I would like to add are:
1. Spa: Get the therapeutic massage and the baltic stone pedicure. Both were great treatments! Expensive - yes - but with the $1500 resort credit currently underway (of which $500 can be used for the spa), those 2 treatments in particular give you the biggest bang for your buck.
2. If you play golf, bring golf balls and golf gloves. Everything else is "free" if you apply the resort credit toward a round of golf (incl. club/ shoe rental and cart fee).
No matter what you do during your stay at the resort, however, you'll leave completely refreshed. We are looking forward to returning.

Let me begin by saying that I have never experienced such fantastic service. The staff alone is the ideal model that all hotels should aspire to: not only knowledgeable and friendly, but also charismatic, patient, generous, and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay special.

The hotel itself is stunning- and the pictures speak for themselves. From the architecture to the interior design, to the pool, the picturesque hotel will leave you feeling inspired. (Be sure to check out the jaw-dropping spa and gym)

Speaking of the spa, it is almost impossible to leave. If it weren't for the beautiful tropical weather waiting for me outside, I would never have left the spa.

The rooms are spacious, clean, romantic, and THE BEDS ARE INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE. I cannot do justice to the addicting comfort of the perfect beds in the hotel rooms!

Finally I cannot believe that the hotel is an all inclusive. After our stay, my friends and I felt like we had won the lottery. With all of the incredible services the hotel offers (not to mention phenomenal food and cocktails) the value of our stay was unbelievable. I hope you get the chance to experience this sublime hotel!

This resort is a perfect couples paradise. It has a quiet Zen like feel, great service, great views and top notch facilities. Food? To put that in perspective.....if you love Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Outback...the food is a 10 out of 10. If you are a foodie and love upscale dining....it's a 7 or 8 out of 10 depending on which restaurant you are eating at. I will say that the filet in the international restaurant is as good as any at Ruth's Chris. If you've never experienced a tasting menu at a French restaurant, you will be thrilled with it at Le Blanc. Its unique and with superior service. I've eaten some pretty good Oriental cuisine and the Oriental restaurant is average. The Italian is good, but not great. The Mexican is terrific. The breakfast and lunch buffet dining is as good as you could ask for. And if they don't have it out, if you ask they will try to satisfy your request.
All the restaurants have wonderful service. The standard wines available are marginal at best. They were serving Barefoot vineyard products and like kind. Still enjoyable but not top shelf. Facilities.....the big advantage of LeBlanc is their heated pools. They were fantastic. Almost too warm on a couple of days if you were to be stupidly picky. We found out way to the big pool overlooking the beach in the morning, went to lunch and switched to the Lagoon view pool in the afternoon to follow the sun. You can get a whole day of sunshine with this routine. The service around the pool is unmatched. As a hotel guest you have access to the hydrotherapy area of the spa free of charge. This includes a sauna, steam, foot bath, jacuzzi, cold plunge and warm pool. Pretty outstanding perk. They have a great workout room and plenty of classes to workout off the food and drink. The rooms are pretty standard cancun rooms. Marble floors, double jacuzzi, sparsley decorated and very clean. The maid service was excellent. The only 2 negative comments I have to make are....they do have business groups staying at the hotel. In my opinion, they don't belong there. One night a group of about 14 men from a telecom company were in the Italian restaurant and they were so loud & obnoxious that it ruined the evening. They were dropping F bombs and we felt bad for the staff as they were embarrassed and really had no recourse. Sad, but when business people are away from home and drink too much as a group.....bad result. They also had a modeling group there for a photo shoot somewhere in Cancun. One happened to be in the room next door and at midnight as she was getting ready to go out, her door was open, her tv music was blaring and she was strutting back and forth on the marble floor. It sounded like a heard of cattle. That lasted about an hour. We did mention it the next morning and the said it was taken care of and it wouldn't happen again. It didn't and we were happy. Again, this hotel is not the place for this type of client. Overall, if you come to LeBlanc and you leave without crying, there is something wrong with you. We will definitely return next year.
