This is my 3rd time staying at the Ambiance villas and I love it here we usually book through the hotel directly but this time we booked through an owner. The condos are amazing and very clean. You can book directly with the hotel at kinhabeach.com or go to cyberrentals.com id # 138421 if you want to book the private condo. The condo we had this time is not suitable for disabled guests as it is on the 4th floor with no elevator. It was perfect for us and we had amazing views from our condo. we will be back next year

We stayed at the ambiance villas from 1st sept - 12th. We booked directly with the hotel online and had no problems. The room was ready when we arrived. We were really impressed with the room. Very spacious we opted for one with a kitchen. Having a fridge was great. Our room looked over the pool. All the grounds are lovely. very well maintained. there was always someone tending to them.Massive palms even bananas growing and hibiscus plants. The beach is great too. very clean. there was someone raking it every morning. plus there is a security guard on the beach although he looked very bored as it was so quiet. It meant that we could leave our stuff on the sun loungers, of which there we many, and go for a swim in the sea. We wandered along the beach one night and there were other security guards along the beach too.
We got free breakfast with our room but if you were paying its only 95 pesos each anyway - about £4.50. The restaurant is right on the beach and you get complimentary nachos. The food is good ranging from about £3 - £10. plus the cocktails are 50 pesos only!
The staff are friendly they let me use their phone at the reception when out tour guide didn't show up. There is a supermarket up the road where we bought water and milk too.
The pool is lovely its heated and you can swim late at night if you want which we often did. At night there turn on the lights which are around all the palm trees by the pool and the restaurant - very pretty. Its a great hotel for the money. We wanted somewhere nice and small but within our price range and we got it. Plus it was so quiet going in september - it was great plus the weather was amazing.
My top tip would be to use the local buses only 7.5 pesos each thatabout 40p and they come evry 2 minutes - brilliant. If you like souvenir shopping then market 28 is good although the hassle you get from the shop holders is relentless! They are there ready to pounce on you. But be strong and don't pay the first price!
Also if you want to swim with doplhins then dolphinerius next to wet'n'wild is very good. The photos and dvd they take though is very expensive. Again though we haggled and got the price down.

We stayed 10 days, but this place continued to be awesome day after day. If you stay here, please-please-please include the breakfast for your room! No only was it “Awesome!” but cost-effective….you won’t need to eat lunch or until the late afternoon…It’s just that good. The property is kept very clean and the employees are very friendly, polite and attentive to your needs as a guest. The beach, albeit shallow….is breathtakingly beautiful. The location is just a walk away from “the happening spots” and restaurants. The cheap local bus, if that’s your thing, stops right out front and goes to “Walmart” for supplies or downtown Cancun for a bus connection down to Playa del Carmen, or the $17.00 ferry over to “Isla Mujeres” or anywhere along the strip. If you get a rentacar at the airport when you arrive, the hotel has “free” parking. The hotel is perfect for persons with disabilities {despite what other reviewers think} there are ramps in a few spots all around the first floor. My wife , my sister in-law, my friend and I stayed at the Ambiance at one of the two bedroom villas with a kitchen. We rented though a private owner. We stayed in room 4408 and 4409. The resort itself was very peaceful and tranquil. The beach was awesome. It was by far the best beach around. I walked all the way down to the FAGC beach and the dreams and their beach was much smaller, rocky and choppy water. The Ambiance had plenty of beach chairs and palapas. All the rooms have HUGE balconies. It was in no way luxurious but it was very comfortable and inviting. If you want to come to Cancun and relax and not spend a lot of money then the Ambiance is for you. It was located a 5min ride from downtown Cancun and a two minute bus ride or 10min walk to all the clubs.
