Great place to relax and do nothing or get involved in the games going on all day long. The rooms are nothing special - our room was near the quiet pool - everything worked and it was clean.
There are 3 pools - one sports pool for games, a quiet pool with a swim up bar - really quiet and relaxing over there, everyone there is normally reading a book or something, the sexy pool has music blaring all day and the entertainment group does an excellent job keeping the vibe fun and entertaining. Games range from horseshoes to tequila trivia - get the answer wrong and drink. We never left the sexy pool.
Food all around was the best all inclusive food we have ever had - the specialty restaurants were unbelievable - the portions are on the small side but don’t be shy to order a double portion of anything you like.
There are bars open pretty late but most people seem to venture out to clubs so between 10:30 and 2:30 at night it seems quiet. You can get food and booze around the clock pretty much.
Beach was very lame - small and murky - if you are going for the turquoise blue water and a nice beach go somewhere else - this place is all about the entertainment and party vibe.
We saw a lot of topless people and did not see any swinging til the last night on a ground floor jacuzzi room that had 10 or so naked people partying on but were never asked or approached while at the resort so don’t sweat it.
Tip- put a few ones in the mini fridge under an empty beer can if you want more than the 2 cans they give you each day- we got 5 everyday.
We went fishing and jet skiing - both times bargaining the price down to almost half - you don’t ask you don’t get. Private fishing charter for 4 including beer started at 500 for 6 hours and we ended up paying 300 plus a 40 tip.
This place is like a party zone for the 25-55 age group- spring break for the older crowd. Go have fun relax - you will make new friends and laugh your butt off.

My husband and I went to Temptations in Oct. 2009 for an anniversary get away. This was our first "all inclusive" experience.
The Bad: Our room did not have a very good view, but we never asked for an upgrade. I did not like having to make reservations for the "fancy" restaurants. You had to make them from 10 to 12 in the morning. My husband and I really did not want to be on a schedule. We ate when we felt like it, and really didn't know in the morning what we would want to do that night, or at what time. The mini fridge never was fully stocked, either. This wasn't a huge deal, but kind of inconvenient. I wanted a coke one morning and had to go to the buffet and get one, because there were none in my fridge and the bars didn't serve drinks, even non-alcoholic until 10. We only had one bartender who was rude, and he was reported. You are told not to tip, but there are tip jars on every bar and you do get better service.
The Good: The service was excellent. We never had to wait for drinks or food. We got to the hotel at about 10:30 at night (we had a late flight) and one of the waiters let us in a restaurant and fixed us food. They were really wonderful about making dishes how you wanted and serving you what you wanted to drink. Some of the bartenders knew us by name by the end of our stay and would have a drink ready and waiting. The buffet and Tex Mex place were very good. The fajitas were the best ever! We also ate at the Seafood Restaurant and it was very good. I never ate at the Italian or Asian place because of the whole reservation thing. The pools were clean and fun. The sexy pool had lots of activity. Some days everyone would be topless, and other days no one would be. It just depended on the day and the crowd. My husband spent time in both pools and enjoyed both of them. The nightly entertainment was okay, it was fun and silly, but nothing to write home about. We also liked the sports bar at night. Pablo was the best. Bring your own cup. The cups they give you are small, but they will fill one of your own for you if you have one. The alcohol was very good. I know there have been some complaints, but we were served top notch liquor for our whole stay. We also did the catamaran trip. Its not included in your package, but worth the extra money. We also saw El Rey, the Mayan ruins in Cancun. Very cheap, but interesting.
I would go back if I had the chance. We had a lot of fun and meet some amazing people from all over the world.

My partner & i have just got back from the holiday of a lifetime, having both stayed in 5 star resorts worldwide we know what service & quality is, nowhere have we been where all staff members have been so helpful and caring towards guests. The atmosphere was great from the minute you got up to the minute you went to bed, the pool staff are great. People were friendly & respectful of others always. DO NOT listen to people saying this is substandard, it is a great place with great bars, restaurants & nightlife inside the resort, with a stunning beach which is safe day & night.

Firstly we had read a lots of reviews and were a little apprehensive about the hotel we chose. Its not a five star but your not paying 5 star prices and no where does it say its a five star hotel so stop reading now and go down the strip if thats what your after. As for the timeshares, I think they only hassle Americans as we were never bothered, nor were any others from our flight.

We loved it we arrived on a change over day so was very quiet and relaxing, drinks brought to you as you relaxed in the sun by the pool and the beach. Yeah there plenty of topless women but if your offended by that don't go to Europe. The resort overall reminded me of Spain, only three floors high so you get the sun the whole day long, cheesy music and plenty to drink. Pure hoilday heaven, the beach is lovely if you want to get away from it, plenty of sun loungers and beds to chill out on. The sand and scenery are very beautiful and the sea is not too bad, yeah its a bit weedy but if thats not your thing there are plenty of pools. The food was great the buffet was a huge let down over the 2 weeks we stayed at dinner it had run out of food by 8pm but you could chose of the menu which I thought was better. The Asian was my favourite. The service was always excellent and everyone was so helpful. Alfredo at the bikini bar was our favourite bar man he was always friendly and always remembered our names and drinks. There is plenty to do to suit all tastes though the resort does die by 11pm so you either head to the clubs or bed. Patio Bar is open till 6am but it soon empties out past midnight.

As for the drinks being watered down I found that to be quite the opposite, sometimes too strong, the cocktails are a little weaker and the beer is week till a few then it hits you. There no cider if you come from the UK.

The room was lovely, never got are towel folded like a swan, but the room was alway cleaned throughly and the fridge was always stocked. (A tip empty your fridge every day if you want it fully re-filled as they only replace what you have used). The balcony was huge and we had a great view around the quiet pool and the sea. though I think we were lucky, as some other couples we spoke to had to change there rooms a few times. The only complaint would be, is very little storage for your clothes. There was 5 hangers and 3 very shallow draws to but 2 weeks and 2 peoples stuff, but its not the end of the world.

Buses are great they run every 5-10 mins and cost 7.5 peso (0.35p) We got buses every where and were always good, we did use taxis some of the time but you must haggle we found paying in peso got us a better rate but most the shops and clubs price in dollars first. The hotel is far apart from the rest of Cancun about 10-15 min bus ride and is seperated by a bridge and a lot of abandon buildings. But there is bus stop just over the road to take you into town and a bus stop right next to the hotel on the way back so its easy to get around. Coco bongo is without a doubt the best bar there though the show seems to repeat its self so best for probably the one trip. Most bars charge a cover and then free drinks so make sure you like the place before entering.

Overall I loved it, its not the Ritz, But its cheap, relaxing and clean. I would definatly return, it has been my best hoilday ever and can't quite imagin going anywhere else.

This is 3-star, very simple resort for adults of ALL ages with the optional clothing (mostly topless) in the pool and around the beach. The resort tries to position itself as a place for romance but it did not feel like that at all. The room was smelly, air conditioner was extremely noisy, bedding and pillows were chip, and mattress was hard as a piece of wood. The bathroom was very basic. Day entertainment was organized by a pierced and tattooed all over guy who is into a gay humor and colorful jokes. Night entertainment was of a quality of inexpensive strip bar. On one of the nights, they canceled a night entertainment and rented a part of the resort out to a pre-teen birthday party for a Mexican girl from Cancun (which was totally bizarre for the adult resort). These children had a wild party where they smoke and drank. Very unusual scene for the American tourists. Every night, the resort organizes tours of the local Cancun bars.
I think it would be a perfect spring breakers place if a goal is to become drunk and to swim in a pool with half-naked ladies and some men of ALL ages and SHAPES. I could not come up with any other reason to visit this resort again.
What I liked about the resort: It is in a very beginning of a hotel zone in a protected bay. There are no people passing by on a beach. The ocean feels like a lake, shallow and calm, very good for water sports.
