I just came back from my week long Cancun vacation. The hotel really nice and clean. I tipped the front desk guy $40 and got upgraded to a ocean front room which was awesome. The only downfall was that they do not have king beds in the newer rooms. I was stuck pushing to double beds together from my GF and I.

Cons:
No king beds
All tile floor
Nightclub is right accross the street so you can hear it while you're trying to go to sleep
No outside food or drinks allowed
Timeshare people call you everyday
Lots of noise due to tile floor and people dragging their chairs and tables we heard it from like 3am until 2 pm. It was really annoying.

Beautiful, friendly, reasonabley priced, peaceful, immactulately clean. The rooms were fantastic, clean and bright. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind, really genuine people. Location was perfect, 10 minute stroll or 2 minute bus ride to the main strip (buses costs about 20c and are along every minute) when you want to live it up in town. When you want to nurse your hangover or chill out you can lie on the fabulos beach or at the stunningly beautiful pool areas. The pool food is really good and the cocktails! My god! coco loco served in a fresh coconut or the peach daiquiri, yum. Basically my boyfriend had to drag me, kicking and screaming out of the room on the last day . Stay here you wont be sorry, execpt when you have to leave, then you'll be distraught.

Beautiful all around- beach, room, grounds, city. Get comfortable walking shoes. Lots of cobble stone around the facility. Great italian restaurant right across the street!

For $54 a night, you really couldn't ask for much better (I booked via Orbitz). The location was great, the pools were great, the beach was very nice, my room was beautiful with a great ocean view. The front desk staff was very helpful.

My only issues (and they are small ones) was the policy that you can't bring any food or drink into the hotel. You have to sign some sort of waiver. And I was in the farthest building from the lobby, it was actually quite a hike to get down to the bus in front of the hotel, probably a 10 minute walk.

Other than that, I was super pleased. And for $54 those things really didn't bother me.
