“it's okay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

It's okay. The A/C works and it is close to the bus terminal. It also has a small gym if you are interested. Just stay away from the hotel restaurant. The food is no good. Good for a one night stay on your way to someplace else.

there is only one positive thing about staying at this place: if you have an early flight out of cancun it is directly in front of the ADO bus station. the rest...i have stayed here several times and it seems to just be getting worse and worse, the rooms havent been renovated in 30 years and the pool is either out of order or filthy. the restaurant is the worst part. i ordered a filet mignon and got a ribbeye, because the cook decided since he had no fillet mignon left, that he should chose for me! I SENT the food back and ordered some overpriced chile relleno. no, both hotel and restaurant need better management and serious refurbishing.

I stay here every time I need to overnight by the bus station. It's quiet which is hard to find in that area. Safe, clean and convenient. Nice restaurant attached. The parrots are a nice touch. Great spot.

The sole reason I picked this place is the proximity to the ADO Bus Terminal, it's just next door. The place got only mediocre reviews on TA, however I think it was better than expected. Maybe because I had very low expectations. It's close to a street with some touristy restaurants and bars and 7-11 like stores left and right. The rooms are average size and pretty clean and more on the modern side. It's not a 4* hotel for western standards but really good enough to crash one night. The staff was helpful in changing my room to a better one.

We needed a hotel close to the bus station for rest before a flight out of Mexico the following day. This hotel was conveniently located but had seen better years. Run down and in need of upkeep is the best way to say it I think. Lights burned out in the room, lampshades stained, no hot water and two towels for two guests.

Room Tip: Check out your room before you commit.

We stayed here for two nights in early Feb as we were starting a tour of Central America and it was the hotel used by the tour group.
The hotel was fine - a little unconventional by western standards in terms of the bathroom/shower situation but otherwise it was fine.
The room was clean, the air con worked well (and boy did we need it) and there was water supplied which was great.
The ADO bus stop across the road makes this a really handy location - if we'd realised earlier just how easy it was to catch the ADO bus we'd have definitely caught the bus to the hotel rather than got a private transfer. It's walking distance to some good food and there are plenty of convenience stores around
The wifi could be a bit patchy but overall it was okay and the pool looked good.
The hotel was quite noisy and there appeared to be a school group there rehearsing their drama play, which made for some interesting noises! But it wasn't a big deal.
I wouldn't be booking this hotel for more than a few nights and definitely not for any romantic holidays, but for our purposes it suited us just fine.

Terrible/rude customer service. Room smelled really musty and mouldy. Badly designed bathroom that allow other guests to see you using the toilet through the shower glass... I could go on. Conveniently close to the ADO bus station so we should have just caught the bus straight out of Cancun.
