We stayed here for one night, after vacationing south of Tulum, because our flight left Cancun early in the morning. So you can see, Cancun was not our destination or preferred location, but the transition from total calm in the Tulum beach area to Cancun was easier because we stayed here. It's like staying in a nice home (with marble floors, wide winding staircases and deluxe baths. Very nice private pool area with bar, private beach area, and delicious breakfast. Great service all around. On the beach, looking up and down at the big box skyscraper hotels, I was glad we had our tucked-away room. -- Note: hard to find! Even when you've zeroed in on the location, you still can hardly see it!

The room is nice but they fee you to death. Food served in the restaurant may be the worst food of any place we ate in Mexico, ever, (breakfast and dinner)! Reviews rave about Ernesto. Nice guy but never see anyone at the pool bar or pool side restaurant. Hotel security has been instructed to prohibit guest from bringing any food from outside onto the premises; no coffee pots or microwaves in the rooms (very inconvenient). Internet is $20 a day but rate can be negotiated. If you want solitude this is the place; only about 29 rooms; Boring, nothing to do. Paid about $35-$50 per meal off the premise. There are several all inclusive establishments close by that are nicer and less expensive. Recommendations to the hotel are: offer all-inclusive at a reasonable rate (not at $95 per day per person). If it was reasonable and they hired a better chef and made up a better menu at a more reasonable price, the guests would fill the restaurants daily and it would make it a far more attractive package. You would have more guests using the pool area if you had some music out there and maybe some events / entertainment going on. This could be a hidden treasure if they became creative and made some changes.

We are very disappointed to read your review and would like to respond to the various points you have made. We have received numerous positive comments regarding the food at the hotel here on Tripadvisor. We would like to mention that if guests wish to order a specific dish then our chef will his best to accommodate the request. Our Pool Bar is open daily and should it be unattended at anytime then service can be requested from the poolside restaurant. Room service is available 24hours per day should guests require coffee and/or food - our hotel policy dictates that food or drinks purchased outside the hotel are not permitted, hence microwaves are not provided. The hotel prides itself on being a tranquil getaway in Cancun and guests looking for noise and activities may be better suited to one of the larger hotels with daily activities and entertainment. In order to meet our guests needs we offer a Meal Plan however it is up to the guest whether they wish to purchase the plan or not – the hotel is offered primarily on room only basis with 3 restaurants to choose from with a la carte menus offering international food. We see that you use the words “hidden treausre” which are exactly the words used by many satisfied guests when describing Casa Turquesa. We are sorry that the hotel did not meet your expectations, however thorough research is key when choosing a hotel.

This small classy hotel with 29 rooms is a welcome relief to the mega resorts of Cancun
The rooms are large and tastefully decorated with artwork. The hotel is a museum to beautiful artworks from all over the world. All rooms face the garden and ocean. Travelling on my own for a family union the staff made me feel very welcome especially Missy who was a wonderful ambassador for this hotel who truly cared, and had much knowledge of the local area and beyond.
The only suggestion I have would be if tea and coffee making facilities.

Room Tip: Thee lower floor rooms are a little noisy as they are next to the lift and a kitchen area

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff (especially Missey) and a great location right on the beach. Huge rooms. Great breakfast and gorgeous view from the pool. A small island of calm in the midst of all the high-rise resorts.

Room Tip: I had a garden suite, it was great - you could still see the ocean and could walk through the patio...

Casa Turquesa is a small inviting hotel that has a lot of character and charm to enjoy a quiet vacation! The staff was outstanding, especially Dani and Missy....they made our stay even more enjoyable with their friendly faces and great customer service. The location was perfect for us and the beach front was overwhelming as we enjoyed the view from our room. For us, it was centrally located and not "commercial" as Casa Turquesa will be our vacation destination on future Cancun trips!

The room was larger than expected, the deck had a tub and sunbath area....waking up to the sun shining and waves splashing was just the relaxation we needed to get away from work and just relaxed....Casa Turquesa delivered exactly that for us! Highly recommended this hotel as the mall is located next to the hotel and taxi's readily available to take us anywhere! The #1 restaurant in the area is just minutes from the hotel. We just loved it!

Room Tip: all the rooms face the ocean, so you cannot go wrong with a junior suite! Very large and spacious b...

Our stay was nice, but we had a couple of issues with the room, the AC didn't cool enough and the toilet has a problem when flushing. They charge you for using internet, I don't remember the amount but as we only stayed one day we didn't pay.
The room was huge, with a big bathroom, two sinks, a bathtub and a shower. It also had a balcony with a jacuzzi and nice views of the ocean. The hotel itself has many paintings and a couple of sculptures, that makes you feel as if you were visiting a museum, which we liked.

The pool is great but it would be better if it was an infinity pool, it would amazing seeing the sea from the water.

There is also a mall near the hotel, with a couple of restaurantes and several shops, including one where you can buy any kind of drinks, food and more things. There are also two bus stops which are realy handful if you want to move around the hotels.

Moreover there is a mall near the hotel, where you have internet for free with a couple of restaurants, many shops, banks etc...

Room Tip: Do not choose a room with patio exit, not too much parivacy. Instead choose one with ocean view in t...
