This place isn't that big and there are only 6 or 7 water rides, they were all fun though! The lazy river has a very strong current so it's not so lazy and the wave pool was fun too. It was nice here because it wasn't very busy and it was very clean. Another contributor had mentioned that they smelled sewage, I smelled it too and I think it was coming from the water across the street. Finally, I did the dolphin swim and it was so amazing getting up close with the dolphins. You get to touch them, do a dolphin ride, and an interaction with them. This is worth the $129.00, we had an offer of buy one get one at the time so my sis-in-law did it with me. Definitely worth the money.

It's is completly outrageous that our 4 years old was charged the same entry price as the bigger children, when she couldn't slide on any of the tobbogan because of her height The heights requirement was wrongly explained when we booked the ticket. We were told she could ride with us, but it turns out that she couldn't.
My child is no smaller than other children her age, she is more than one meter tall, and still couldn't use the slide.
this Park should be charging the children according to their heights (just like Xcaret or Xel-ha) and not with the age.
When I complained to the guest service agent (David) I was told all he could do, if I was really angry about this, was write a note for his supervisor to read later! What kind of problem solving was that...
Bottom line, everywere we read that this park is perfect for youngster, but clearly it's not.

While vacationing in Cancun my family (kids ages 5 & 7) wanted to swim with Dolphins. Our travel rep at the resort we were staying at talked us into Wet n’ Wild since you got the added benefit of water park admission with your dolphin adventure. Would only recommend going to Wet n’ Wild if you are going to swim with the dolphins. The water park was great for my young kids but is not worth the $49 USD admission by itself. There are much better water parks in the states for a lot less money. Although the admission price includes food and drinks, I would exclude that factor from your decision process since the food was absolutely horrible.

The dolphin experience was great and the staff was friendly. My kids and I did the dolphin encounter for $69 while my wife went on the dolphin experience (they had a special in July for $115). Short of the foot push and actually swimming, the encounter package actually had just as much interaction with the dolphins. The kids and I actually got to do things like touch their teeth that the higher package did not include.

HERE IS THE GOTCHA: They do not allow personal cameras in the dolphin area. The staff does take pictures and a video of your experience. I was shocked by the price they wanted to charge after the encounter. 8 digital pictures on a disk $99; 16 digital pictures $169; & video for $69. Pictures cost more than the actual experience. Like everything in Mexico, everything is negotiable. Their goal is to extract the most money from you as possible. Some people actually paid the list price. The best price I was able to get was $69/session for all pictures of my family. I ended up paying $138 for about 50 pictures on a disk.

Wet'n Wild in Cancún is only worth if you pay extra for the Dolphinaris

Wet'n Wild (Cancún) is not worth the money (and the length of the typical trip from Playa del Carmen), except for the Dolphinaris (swim and interact with dolphins) inside the park. But the latter requires a lot more money on top of the park ticket and lasts just one hour, you can't take your water cameras and they charge too much for the pictures they take of you (US$29 each picture, US$59 de DVD).

Rides and games for the kids. Wave Pool. At least 8 water slides. Lazy River. Dolphin Adventure if you want to play to do that. Mexican, and american food (average at best) and and open bar. (Beer, Wine, and Mixed drinks)

Come on... Anyone who rates this place bad is just expecting way to much. We had 4 kids there and for 4 hours they never stopped.

It may not be for 40 year old adults alone or on an adult vacation, but for people with kids it is just great!!!
