There was only one good ride in the whole park. It was called the space bowl. You go in a slide which takes you into a bowl with a hole at the bottom...like a toilet bowl. You spin around the bowl about 5 or 6 times and you fall into the hole into a pool. There is another version of that ride. You can go in the Dark Space bowl. Everything is dark except for the hole that you fall through. In my opinion the dark one is more fun.

We went to Parque Nizuc with three small children (3, 6, and 9) and it was absolutely excellent. It was expensive, but I felt that we got more for the money than we ever did at Disney World.

The Dolphin Interactive Program was fabulous, even with a six-year-old. They got to examine and pet and do tricks with a real live dolphin, who was very gentle and well-trained. The trainer was very knowledgeable, and spoke very good English. (They alternate English and Spanish parties.)

One thing that I wish we had known is that friends and family can stand on the dock above the Dolphin Interactive Program. My littlest one and her mom went off to play, and missed a good time.

There was plenty for the little ones to do, and they had a blast. Many of the attractions require the kids to be at least 42" tall, so older children will have a wider range of activities. There were plenty of life guards, and they all seemed serious and well-trained. Everything was clean and well-maintained.

Photos of the dolphin kissing you on the cheek run about $12 EACH. Be prepared for a little sticker shock (as with most things in Cancun).

The dolphin swimming was a great time. There are some hidden charges for Wet n' Wild, you pay the entrance fee but you also have to rent the tubes to go on the rides. So your fee to enter the park doesn't take care of that. I wish I would of known that earlier. Great place, but bring some extra money for deposits also.

I have just returned from Cancun and the highlight of my holiday was swimming with dolphins at Parque Nizuc. I signed up for the trainer for a day and it was just amazing! We fed them, swam with them and experienced the foot push that was just awesome! I would recommend this park to do the the dolphin trip because it is in the sea and seemed more natural than the other places I had seen. I would also recommend the day choice as one hour just ain't enough! It was the best day of my life!! You can also buy a video of yourself with the dolphins which is well worth it too.
