“SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! LOVED THIS HOTEL- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2010

I stayed at this hotel whilst on honeymoon in Cancun..I originally booked to stay in Moon Palace which is a sister resort on the outskirts of Cancun (I have posted a seperate review if interested!). To cut a long story short we transferred to this hotel five days into our ten night stay as we were just blown away with the Beach Palace..The beach front location and amazing Carribean waters were just picture perfect.. The food in this hotel and service from staff was just top dollar..Food options were delicious, there was a fab Italian and Asian A le carte restaurants and they were our fave..Also a steak house and the other choices were self service buffets that had SO much delicious choice also..Entertainment in the hotel every evening and lots of activities for teens, kids, families.. The pool swim up bar was cool, staff so friendly and yummy burgers/ sandwiches etc. Hotel was walking location to two malls- one in particular being very good...Short taxi run to Senor Frogs and Coco Bongo's,.. You could walk to the likes of Bubba Gump restaurant..Althou we found the food so nice in the hotel we didnt want to leave it at all..The room we had was just amazing, sea view, balcony and bed huge..Room service was excellent, cleaning staff so nice and efficient.. I cant praise this complex enough..The roof top bar was fantastic..two pools and two hot tubs, and a small gym/work out room on top.. You could watch a fab sunset in the evenings as the hotel is surrounded by beach on one side and lagoon on the other..
In summary as you can probably tell, LOVED BEACH PALACE and would love to visit it again- Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I were booked into this hotel by our online travel agent the night before arriving. We only realized after arriving that this was also an RCI resort.
We arrived to check in early which caused about an hour delay in getting in, but the staff could not avoid that and did get us in before the posted check in and made a fuss over us as we waited.
The rooms were gorgeous, well laid out and the toiletries were plentiful and of high quality. Our room had a huge hot tub in it as well which we really enjoyed having. Our patio was quite large as we were on the corner of the building, our balcony had a huge Bali beach bed as well as a table and chairs. One word of advice, if you value having your door open or would like to fall asleep outside, get a room on the beach side, the street side is very loud.
There are three ala carte restaurants in the hotel as well as a buffet. All the food is of high standing especially for an all inclusive hotel. There is an Asian restaurant, the sushi was very good, an Italian restaurant as well as a steak/grill restaurant. I recommend the surf & turf. There are three bars on the property, all of which were fairly quite most nights we were there. The bar staff however, make very good drinks, no watered down premixes here.
Staff, at all levels, were exceptional. Their English was very strong, it made me feel guilty for not speaking Spanish when they spoke English so well. There are a couple of managers that you will see consistently and they will make a point of getting to know you and what you like, after ordering four bottles of the most obscure wine on the list, they started bringing it too us with our meal by the third day, without being asked. This was a very very nice touch and made us feel well cared for. The activity, if you are into those, are great and I advise using the agents to plan your outings.
The pools, all of them, were fantastic, well maintained, staffed and were for the most part, adult and fun. I recommend a day of drinks pool/beach side, followed by roof top drinks, hot tub and pool until the sun goes down, that was where we met some of the best people of our holiday.
We also wondered down to the ME, next door, they had day parties with people are age, much fun but expensive drinks.
One thing that can't be overlooked, there are two other sister hotels on the same strip, the restaurants are the same but the people are not so if you have the time, check these out to break up the week.
Wi-Fi worked great.
Go, enjoy it is worth the money.

My husband and I stayed here for the week of Apr 18 - 25. Apon arriving at the airport everything was smooth. Our Palace rep was there to greet us and call for our shuttle. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by name and recieved a welcome drink. Check in was quick and up to our room 912 with the bellman and our luggage. Room was exactly as seen on the website. View amazing, new beach amazing. We ate in the buffet for dinner this was ok our fave was the italian ate their 2x. The steak grill outside was good but always windy. We did the asian once did not really enjoy the atmosphere but the food was pretty good. Beds were comfy, shower pressure great really liked the rain shower head. Jacquzzi did take a while to fill but so worth it after a long day of laying around. Beach and pools chairs never had a problem getting 2 together but I think staying in April makes a big difference, we hardly saw any kids or teens. We did 2 of the included tours, the jungle tour and the isle mujers both were good and recomend. For more details I did a trip report when we first returned. All in all a great hotel and wonderful staff we would definately return here or another palace resort. If you have any questions please pm me and I would be happy to answer.

We were at Beach Palace May 1-7. Our first vacation through our timeshare with Interval International. We have been to the palace resorts (aventura in 2004) so we knew we would have great service and a gorgeous property. They rarely ever tell you "no" to your requests unless they just cannot accomodate you.

When you arrive you check in and this only takes a small amount of time. Warm cloth, juicy drink. Then, you talk to the sales guy who wants you to take a tour through the timeshare at cancun palace. Being that we had not been on vacation alone for 2 years, we opted not to. It took a little firmness but eventually we got to our room. We will definitely go on the timeshare tour next time as we are very happy with the palace resorts and beach palace and want more opportunities to stay at other properties.

we also upgraded to the ocean view for $20 per night which was totally worth it for us. the show alone at the pool is a joy to sit and watch and if you don't want to see that you sit back and enjoy the sound of the ocean. music was never too loud facing the rooms. and the deck furniture was nice. a bed, two chairs and a table. They need more hooks outside and in the rooms to hang towels and bathing suits. especially if they want you to reuse your towels.

over the six days we saw a few shows (fire shows), casino night, karaoke night, did mani/pedi at the spa, relaxed by the pools (rooftops are nice too), walked on the gorgeous beach(no rocks), swam in the ocean and went on one jungle tour which was 2 for 1 and was worth it for $66US total. everything was 5 star, pools were clean, volleyball was fun, drink service was good (we always tip when we are there, 10% of our total bill between maids, drinks & food service).

Jungle tour was cool because my husband got to drive his own boat and we snorkeled. it was a good time kill for a few hours and we got to visit the sun palace where we ate, drank and sat in their pools before and after the tour. they have a cool plunge pool in the shade that is AWESOME!! adults only though.

We also visited the cancun palace for the day and ate at the tepanyaki restaurant that night. We used the public bus for transpo about $1.20US or 15 pesos for two people, each way. if you take a cab you could spend $20 to go 2 miles. The food at the palace resorts is good. obviously, it's different but we liked it. After 7 days, it does become old but you can visit the different hotels to eat at the different restaurants. Even the buffets are a little different at each.

We only made it to the flea market toward the town of cancun where i did buy some things. it is VERY high pressure and you have to be very firm. also, you can go down almost 50% from where they start. it can be a little overwhelming if you don't know what you are looking for.

One thing we really like at the palace resorts is the gift shops and jewelry shops. the quality is very good and they don't haggle you. a $3 bracelet at the palace could cost you $7 at the flea market if you are not careful. The selection is not huge like at the flea market, but i got some jewelry, fairly priced, thick silver and stones. we bought a lot of things for our kids here (4 tshirts for $25) and for mothers day. the platters, ceramics are original.

Lastly, service and the accomodations. We like the sensors for lighting and air conditioning. good job going green. air conditioning could be a little colder as it can take awhile to cool if you have your door open for any period of time. also, if it is WINDY, BE CAREFUL, my husband almost lost his finger in the door from the suction if you have the sliding doors open to the outside. It is like a tornado in your room.

Service is great. they are on top of everything and it is truely stress free. bottled waters everywhere, drinks and food whenever you need them. your mini bars always filled, just great happy service all around which makes for a perma grin for two people from snowy colorado.

We stayed here for 7 nights and will definitely be back! This hotel is immaculate. Our maid cleaned our room so well everyday, it felt like we had just checked in everytime we came back. The hotel is small for a Palace hotel but it was everything we needed. The shows were top quality with a huge drop down movie screen over the pool area. The 4 restaurants were top notch and the service was better than any restaurant I have ever visited. We ate at both the Sun and Cancun palace while we were there and found the food at this palace to be the best. The service was great at all locations. The beach is nice but there is a drop dowwn to get to the water--the beach at the Sun palace was the best. The location of this hotel is great because there is a large mall walking distance to the left, and a shopping, touristy area to the right. The staff is accomodating in every way and seem proud to work here. I loved the free calls to the US because I could check on my family. Simply loved this hotel.

Stayed at the Beach Palace April25-April29, and had a great time.

check-in: quick 5-10 minutes, had a welcome cocktail and the doorman took our bags. Ramon (front desk) went over the hotel and its inclusions and lets us check in a couple hours early :)

room: just like the pictures, loved the balcony, the jacuzzi, and the beds, no complaints. maid service was excellent, minibar was great, and restocked daily (left a tip by the fridge every morning)

pools: main pool is great with activies through out the day , especially enjoyed the pool volleyball. pool service was prompt. the skybar pools were nice to go up to about 3-4pm to get more sun and Luis, and Isabel were great up there. We did take a walk down to the Cancun Palace one day (about 45 min walk) and it was harder to get a chair there and the poolside service was not as quick as Beach Palace, but was a great time as well.

Food : Ate at all the restaurants at the Beach Palace, all were decent, but the Lasagna at the Italian restaurant was awesome!!!!, Wok was nice and the Steak restaurant was good as well, had the ribeye, not as good as a good steakhouse in the U.S. but still good. Went to Miyako at the Cancun Palace, basically the same food as the Wok, but worth it for the show. make reservations at the Cancun palace daily from 11am-3p for Miyako but I would suggest get there no later than 1115am.

La Isla(shopping mall_ is about a 5 min walk-very good, they also have a Hooters, Chilis and other restaurants there. Go to the Mexican Bazaar in the very back for best deals on souvenirs, I saw three of them but the one in the very back had the best prices.

There is an Outback and Margaritaville about 5 mns in the opposite direction.

The night entertainment can get very slow at Beach Palace and found The Cancun Palace a little more lively and had a great time at the lougne area.

Hope to go back and would definitely stay at the Beach palace again.
