Beautiful resort it your traveling with children this is the place. Grounds are spotless and so clean food is good and great staff you will not find a better place in Cancun. I am staying in a ocean front villa is away from the noise of the main resort area so if you want to upgrade this is the best choice the view is beautiful and directly on the beach

We had a fantastic vacation. The resort is beautiful. The beach is excellent. The rooms are nice. The beds were comfortable. The staff is very attentive. The food is very good. This is our second time at this resort and we will try to stay here again next time we travel to Cancun.

My husband and I just got back from a long weekend birthday trip to Iberostar Cancun. We would definitely come back to this hotel again and will recommend it to friends and family.

The pool and the beach were fantastic. We liked that they had their own kids pool because it really eliminated a lot of children hanging in the main pool. Not that we minded the kids, it was just nice that they had a separate swim-play area. There are a lot of people who put towels on chairs to claim them early in the morning and then don't really seem to show up but we were always able to find a spot. The beach was definitely less crowded and we could always find a spot with an umbrella there. The location of the hotel was great because it looked like we had a lot more beach space than the other hotels close by.

The hotel itself was stunning. We've been to a few other Iberostar resorts in different locations and this one truly looked like a hotel (9 floors) but it was beautiful. As soon as you walk in, the lobby is great and really catches your eye. It was nice to go up to the 9th floor and take pictures looking down into the lobby and with the view of the pool. We stayed in the villas which were great. They were the more traditional "resort" style with only 3 floors that we've seen before. They didn't have as great of a view as the hotel did but it was still nice and private and peaceful.

The food was pretty good. For us, it was typical resort food for the buffets. They do have a lot of options though. The restaurants were good. We went to the Mexican, Japanese and Steakhouse. All were enjoyable. You can only make one reservation per day so pick out the ones you want to go to first and then see if there is a time they can fit you in.

All in all it was a great trip and we had a great time. Jesus, Paula and Erik were fantastic as well and always made sure to say hi to us each morning and let us know what they had planned for the day so we could participate.

This is a nice looking hotel, but the rooms and some service not so nice, especially for the money. We requested a king sized bed when making this reservation but were disappointed upon check in. Many room phones did not work. We were there for a destination wedding and no one could keep in contact..... phones in the room weren't working and there was no wi-fi to text or e-mail each other. The only wi-fi service was in the lobby and had to go there to contact family and friends and to check on things at home. Really made contact difficult. A better mattress would have been nice........ and some staff training to learn how to not lie about the rooms and to treat their guests like guests (like for towels). This one particular guy really gave us a hard time when we requested an extra towel for the beach, as well as one particular person at the front desk, when we wanted to change rooms because of the flood in the bathroom, who told us that there were no other comparable rooms available. We went back down later on and someone else at the front desk gave us another room without any hastle and even gave us the King sized bed we originally requested a month prior to checkin. So, obviously the other person was not telling us the truth. That is unforgiveable really!! Additionally, one news channel in English would have been a nice extra touch.

We strive to offer our guests a pleasant stay where their every request is always met whenever availability allows it. Rooms are assigned upon arrival and whenever possible we can make changes during the stay. Please rest assured that we are reviewing your comment with our Front Desk Manager to ensure our service standards are being met at all times, we apologize for the inconvenience experienced with some of our staff members.

With regards to the telephones, we would like to mention that every time we have a report from a room or any area of the hotel we send assistance immediately and corrective actions are taken straight away to avoid further dissatisfactions. Be sure we have also shared this with our Leadership team to work on this area and improve our service.

this was our second trip in two years to this property - the first time in our 35 years of traveling that we have ever had a repeat resort stay - we like to explore new places, but this hotel is so good that we had to come back - one difference is the large and immaculately maintained grounds - others are the variety of activities, cleanliness, good food, great beach and pools - the biggest difference is the staff - there are plenty of people working here so there is never a wait for anything, and all needs are met very quickly - we remembered many of the staff from our first visit, and enjoyed seeing them again - this is without a doubt our favorite all-inclusive resort in the world - the only negative (nothing uniquely new to all-inclusives) is that drinks are weak - but hey, hydration is needed, so get three at a time!

A nice place to stay with your family or if you want a relaxing time however it was not the place to be for partying. While I liked the calm environment my girlfriend was unhappy with the lack of dancing/partying options. The service staff was excellent.

With regard to the lack of dancing/partying options as you could notice we are a familiar hotel, however we try to include activities through the day that involves dancing lessons with our entertainment team. A part from this we are also located near many disco clubs and bars that can be easily visited. We are sorry if we were not the kind of experience you where looking for.

My first stay at Iberostar was very impressive. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. The frig in my room was not working when I arrived. I reported it and within 30 minutes I had a new frig in my room. The wait staff was always there and willing to help with anything I needed. The entertainment was wonderful and interactive. The hotel is in a great location, not far from the night clubs. You only have to take a but for $1.00 and you are in the center of all the night entertainment. I would stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to others.
