“Lovely beach and calm waters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Spent several days here and the beach is lovely and the sea seems calmer here than along other parts of the hotel zone beaches.

“local families beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

if you do not like to go where local families take their kids swimming and playing, stay at your "all inclusive" beach resort....we loved Playa Tortugas and Restaurant Familiar. Yes, there is some seaweed and it is not the most expansive stretch of sand, but my wife and I loved it.

“not the best beach, but as a port to go to Isla Mujeres”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Although there is a beach here, the place is better accessed as a port to catch the ferries. The ferry services were well managed, with pleasant staff, for our particular trip (snorkeling and other sea sports)

“Fun time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This ferry was close to the hotel. Would have liked to have spent a little more time here to shop and to have a drink or so but we wanted to get over to the island.
