This was the first time we stayed at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral and, although, it is not a real 5 star property compared to modern Vegas resorts, but staff and management is really trying to make your vacation special. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. Turquoise water, flour-like sand and no waves.
Bathroom was a little bit worn out but otherwise no complaints to the room. Beds and mattresses were on 5 star hotel level.
All night clubs are next door so you don't have to hire cab or to take a bus to get to the heart of Cancun's nightlife and numerous restaurants.

FAGCB is definitely one of the best non-inclusive resorts in Cancun.

the staff was extremely friendly, rooms are clean, the food in the buffet incredible, beach is clean, the pool was well kept, location - close to the night clubs, they have the most amazing seafood restaurant neat the pool(forgot the name) - you make your own seafood dish, you come up to the counter and choose any seafood you want - it's all fresh, and they cook it right there for you !

We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral from Sept. 9th to the 16th and had a fabulous time. What a fantastic property! While our room was not completely remodeled it was none the less very nice. The view was great. If this was a partial ocean view I can't imagine how much nicer the ocean front would be. We were however disappointed as a large part of the pool was closed down for refurbishment. We knew that the west tower was to be closed but were not informed about the pool. But to be fair you do have the beautiful ocean to swim in. It was very lovely and so calm without the waves that can become quite rough in Cancun. We never heard any type of loud noises and were able to sleep quite peacefully on a very nice mattress along with great king sized pillows and nice bedding. The staff was very friendly, polite and efficient. Our room was always made up quickly and the evening turn down service was so delightful. The room never wanted for anything. Since it was off season the hotel wasn't very busy. We were always able to find a palapa or pool umbrella. Never any difficulty obtaining the number of beach towels requested. The weather was perfect...just a sprinkle of rain one day. We are breakfast at the restaurant daily as there was not any other nearby restaurant. It could get a bit expensive but we did get 25% off. Breakfast buffet was good and there was a nice selection. We did eat at Isla Contoy for one meal. While the service was nice and the view was nice the food wasn't very good considering the price. We did complain and the offending item was immediately taken away and removed from our bill. We couldn't have asked for it to be handled more appropriately. There is also a little cafe in the hotel which had delicious desserts and coffee. Ordering from beach side service was fun. Two times we ordered pizza which was very tasty. We ate all of our dinner meals away from the hotel. Cancun has become more sophisticated restaurant wise. It used to be only chains like Chilli's and Ruth Chris was decent. Now there are so many choices...Limincello, Harry's, Casa Rolandi and Lorenzillo's to name a few. All were excellent. We also rented jet skis from the booth on the hotel's beach. It was our first time and had a great time. All in all the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach was wonderful!

The fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach is a wonderful resort. When we arrived our room was ready for us, we were told that we were given a room in the east tower, the west tower was completely closed for renovations. Somewhat disappointed wanted to try the new renovated rooms that had already been mentioned here on trip advisor, but we were taken to a very nice room on the 10th floor. The view was excellant ! We were never told or given a paper concerning bringing in food or drinks. We did purchase a few snacks and drinks nearby and carried them up to our room. We had brought along a small foldable cooler that worked out great for the drinks. We had lunch and drinks by the pool each day, they were very good. We loved the fancy glasses instead of the simple plastic ones usually given at resorts. Nice touch! We ordered room service for breakfast one morning, very good and alot of food ! The beach and pool areas are both very tropical and both have plenty of shade. I loved the plam trees on the beach. Service is 5 star all the way ! We plan a trip to a different resort each trip to Cancun, However we will return to this resort. Go you will love it !
