Hola.
Before I had dinner at your restaurant I checked out Trip Advisor. Most liked your restaurant, one complained about the crying baby who no one, including some of the hotels top executives who were eating at a near by table, responded to. Nothing was done and the meal was ruined for them.
Strangely we had a similar experience. I told the waiter about the baby's effect and he did nothing. You need a policy. You can't have a fine dining experience, no matter where, when a baby is crying and his cries echo through the room. Please attend.
In summary: the restaurant is lovely, the wait staff fine, the saxophonist wonderful especially when his music calmed the child,
The food: The Caesar salad was excellent if large. The carpaccio was excellent, perhaps capers and olive oil would be a good addition. The champagne/pear was good. The wine, Savignon Blanc from Chile good. The sorbet and expresso gift good.
However.... Our pastas, capellini and shrimp, homemade pasta dumplings lacked finesse.
The sauces were so strong that the pasta disappeared (could have been polenta). Additionally both pastas were over cooked, not al dente at all. The left overs on the next day were an improvement. Wonder why?
So for the price you charge you need to insure that nothing disrupts the "romantic atmosphere" including babies. Perhaps band them after six oclock or be clear on your advertising what is possible. And ... If you are going to have a dress code on your website, enforce it. I was the only man in slacks in the restaurant. I am not attached to slacks but abided by the code on your web site.
In general disappointed that with such a lovely setting and helpful staff the results were not better.
