If you like local food, this is the place. Head out towards Mercado 28, from the Cancun hotel zone take a taxi or the bus (camion) R2 towards Walmart, ask the driver to let you know when to get off at Mercado 28, then walk about 4 blocks (there is a tour guide kiosk, ask them which direction) and you are there, you can also do your shopping there, prices are pretty good compared with Cozumel, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, always bargain as low as you can. At El Cejas you can pay with credit card, very convenient, but always bring little cash to tip your waiter since you can't include the tip on the CC bill. We had ceviche, shrimp tostonos, shrimp a la diabla and arroz con mariscos (seafood rice), a lemonade, chips and guacamole (chips are free but not the guaca) 4 beers...all very tasty. Prices are very reasonable, we spend $575 pesos (about US$47) not counting the tip.
