First trip to Mexico, and this was a pleasant place to stay. Room was overlooking the beautiful gardens, and was very quiet. Staff was very friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast each day, and had dinner a few times. Very clean and the food was good for a good price.

This was my first visit to Cordoba and this hotel was a very good choice. It's built on the side of a hill facing one of the main streets of Cordoba, about 20 minutes walk to the Zocalo and center of town. The hotel's pool is in a wonderful setting, very quiet and green at the base of the hill. Service was friendly and efficient, the rooms are large and very clean. For the quietest stay, it's best to ask for a room on the back of the hotel rather than facing the road. And the weather was cool enough during my stay it could be comfortable with the window open. I never used the air conditioner. WiFi was very reliable in the room.

Room Tip: Rooms on the road side of the hotel are a little noisier than rooms on the back side of the hotel.

This is an OK place to stay. The entrance to the parking area (under the hotel) is a little hard to do. It is a very steep hill that you have to go down so you cannot see where you are going until AFTER you turn and start to enter. If they did not have a man there to help it would be impossible.

The room was OK but it was right next to the restaurant. There is a hall one the first floor by the restaurant with tables so, you get the lights from the hall shining all night and you get the noise from people eating. Or as it was the night we stayed, a group of young people talking VERY loud until about 1am. We know in Mexico to check the room first be we were tired and not thinking.

Food in the restaurant was very limited so we walked around the area (about 7 or 8 blocks) to try to find some place to eat. The area, like the hotel, is VERY limited in places to eat.

People at the desk were very nice but I do not think I would stay there again.

As al inns this one is good for a night stay or business travel, but ir also has very nice pool and green areas, very picturesque.

The building is dated but comfortable, personnel is helpful and the room are clean.

We found the rooms a little spartan and dated but very clean. Everything worked and beds were comfortable. The staff and service were excellent. Restaurant was nothing special but again service and food was good. Good value. The hotel was fairly easy to find although we had to circle around to get into it.

There are not a lot of international or even national hotel chains in Cordoba, so the business visitor is somewhat challenged in finding a place to stay. I must say that I arrived with some level of anxiety, given my previous experiences with many Comfort Inns. However, this was in fact a very pleasant and positive, unexpected surprise. The hotel is located towards the western end of the city, on the main east-west street (and the old Spanish "Camino Real" road from the port of Veracruz to Orizaba). There is a small shopping center across the street with a Pizza Hut and a Blockbuster Video and a number of other stores. There is underground parking under the hotel but the attendant is not always immediately available to open the gate. The hotel has its own restaurant. The food was passable but the service was good. The rooms were a good size, and clean and the Internet service was fast and worked very well. The staff was polite. The hotel sits on a steep slope and there is a small river behind the hotel. The land between the hotel rooms and the small river contains a series of terraced gardens and a small but sable swimming pool. At night, its quiet, you can sit around the pool and listen to the gurgling water rush past There are not a lot of hotel choices in this market, so if you need good, fast and efficient (and free) Internet service, this is definitely your place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the fifth floor facing north.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only; we were in Cordoba only to attend a party so we did not spend much time in the hotel

This is a small town hotel; the price per night included a breakfast buffet which wasn't bad at all. The swimming pool is several levels below the entrance, it seems o.k. but didn't have time to enjoy it.

The restaurant staff couldn't be more courteous, friendly and helpful. But the front desk staff seems a bit untrained. The room was clean and comfortable; is has good (a bit noisy) air conditioning, and toiletries. There were ants in the bathroom on the vanity, but for such a short stay, it was a minor nuissance.

Not knowing any other hotel in Cordoba, I don't guess I would recommend this as the only option. God knows if there is a better option. This will do for a short stay like ours. But if I ever needed to stay in Cordoba again, I would like to see if there is a better hotel for this price.

By the way, I personally disliked Cordoba. It looked to me like a huge brothell; from the moment the bus entered the town ( probably the wrong side of town), you see a series of cheap motels lined up on the same street, all of them with explicit names such as "the G-Spot Motel" ($10 dollars a night, as they advertise), or "Sensations Motel", and other cute laughable names..... along with cheap-looking dives like "Playboy men's club" or "XXXX-rated night Club" with pictures of almost naked women........ and all the town is plagued with these so-called cheap night clubs which make the town look unsafe at night.

During the day, the traffic is a nightmare, it takes a loooooooooooooooooong time to travel a short distance, because the streets are narrow and insufficient for the number of vehicles.
Cordoba is a small run-down town, I hope I never have to go there again., EVER.

Enjoy your trip!
