Fine hotel in a great city. Recommended for families with young children great pool and nice beach, standard rooms on the smallish side, food ok but expensive for Veracruz..do try eating oot. Wanted to check in at 1:00 pm...but was told by snotty girl that we have to wait until 3pm check in no ifs, ands or buts! I simply asked another girl if a room was available, particularly for a customer paying with a Platinum MasterCard...by act of magic...the room was immediately available.

The Camino Real Veracruz was a beautiful and well managed hotel. Room rates were very very reasonable considering the quality of the hotel. I was very happy with the quality of the room with a beautiful view of the ocean and swimming pool. Veracruz was very hot and humid during this time of the year, the air conditioning worked great. The restaurant at the hotel had a nice variety of foods with excellent service. It's close proximity to downtown and the mall made it very easy to travel and see the sites of Veracruz by taxi or bus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at the Camino Real Veracruz on my next visit.

The Camino Real Veracruz is a really nice and modern hotel, defenitely is one of the best hotels in veracruz.
The rooms were confortable and nice, but they were very little.
The restaurant was really nice, and the lobby was nice but small.
I would recommend this hotel for everyone going to veracruz

We just returned from veracruz, veracruz. I would not recommeded to my worst enemy. It is dirty. Walls are dirty. Everything is falling or breaking. while we were there it started to rain and the water started to come in and all the clothes got wet. Don't get me wrong, it use to be a very nice hotel. We have gone for the past five years and have stayed a week and half and every year the hotel gets worse.
the price getting higher. we tried talking to the owners, but the joung man never did anything about it.
