“Nice Hotel, Good Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013

Arrived to find I had no reservation, but this was speedily corrected. I was roomed on the seventh floor, which unfortunately, was not double glazed in the hallway, thus the wind on this floor, being the top of the building, was very noisy, day and night.

The room itself, was very well appointed, with a refrigerator with the statutory drinks to purchase, a great view of the sea was wonderful and my room overlooked the pool and sun bathing area facing the beach. The queen size bed was very comfortable, fresh linen and pillows, well appointed bathroom, with the usual soaps, creams and shampoos, and the towels were soft. The only drawback is that if the wind is blowing hard, you are in for a noisy night, as the windows are not aligned very well, at least in my room.

I used the gym, which is small, but I was able to enjoy my work out routine, they also had a spa which I did not use. An outdoor pool is large enough for many clients, but the wind stopped this being used during my four day stay.

There are two restaurants, albeit one kitchen, one is al a carte, the other more in keeping with breakfast room, yet clearly big enough to cope with large parties for any event. There is a large bar area, with hotel prices, and lots of staff, and there are a couple of stores to buy the customary items one would find in any quality hotel.

Unfortunately, my Mexican friend persuaded me to try the soft tortilla with chile spiced shrimp, was very nice, I reacted badly to the corn tortilla, and will ill all night. Yet the breakfast menu was extensive, lots to choose from, depending on your budget. I opted on the continental, and was well served by the fresh fruits, yoghurt, and pastries. Naturally, there was plenty of cheese and cold meats to choose from also.

Definitely worth recommending. I'm sure to visit again, and can honestly say, the staff were very helpful, always interested in my comfort, and settling the bill at the end of stay was quite smooth.

Absolutely great service, I had very good experience since the first time and I always come back, the best in Veracruz. The staff is very friendly, excellent restaurants, amazing pool. One time I had to waiting for my rental car and they sent the driver to the restaurant I was at, that was very helpful.

Very noisy in the evening. You hear all the noise from hall and bar. And also you can hear your neighbours.

The location of the hotel is very nice. Right on the beach!!!
It is approximately 10 can ride to the center of the city and 20 minutes to the airport.

There are difference sections of the hotel so that means different and small elevators.

The continental breakfast is really nice and the wait staff (Miguel and the other gentleman who I forgot his name were very nice and super attentive).

The room has tile all over which was nice and cool to walk around care feet. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom was on the narrow size but great tub and water pressure.

Humidity is all over this city and I'm glad the hotel had ac and a ceiling fan in the room.

The hotel is big and very exotic with view of the ocean.

Overall good stay

This hotel has friendly staff, everybody says hello to you, It is not so big and I like that. In a big hotel you are just another number here you can feel different. The rooms are OK with a good view, in the area were we stayed (lower level) there are fountains and gardens in the center, very peaceful. It is located in Boca del Rio were you can find a lot of restaurantrs.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with sea view

Everything was very good, but a few tings could be improved. The lounges at the swimming pool could be more confortable. The pool itself is large but very shallow, more like a paddle pool. One complimentary bottle of water and coffee in the room would be a nice touch that wouldn't cost the hotel much but would make a good impression.

Just stayed here for a night on business, the hotel offers full service on food and beverage options (2 restaurants) a full bar and business center. Convenient free wifi works well. Rooms are ample and overlook into the pool area and beach. This is basically the best hotel in Veracruz, located on Boca del Rio which is the beach and residential area.
Service was fast and consistent from front desk to restaurant personnel and food is amazing with local cuisine and tastes.
If you're into some excersice, the outdoor of the hotel is great for a morning run overlooking the beach.

Room Tip: Dont miss the breakfast buffet
