the pochon is a beautiful hostel. many amenities. however, after lugging around luggage, and getting settled in, were disappointed to be told three hours later someone had booked the same private room on the internet. Strange, I had gone there in person to book the private room a day before. un-organized in not checking internet bookings, however, our money was returned to us, so problem was resolved. would have loved to stay there, beautiful hostel. definitely a hassle to repack, relocate, though!

If you make a stop in Oaxaca. Do not hesitate this is the best hostel in town, believe me I checked it twice. Very very good value for money, you get a lot: free internet, hot drinks in the morning and bread, Big kitchen, amazing patio where you can meet travellers. Also it is very clean, friendly place, staff very helpful.
Do not miss it, for sure you will enjoy your stay there.

I was there for 4 days and I just want to say that the hostal is ok in all but the service from the manager who is working there is not nice and he is all the time rude with the people.

The guy and the girl whom are working there like managers they feel like owners but they are not the owners from these hostal.

I was with nice travellers there and all the poeple think the same and feel the same.

I will never recomend these place for to stay.

The hostel itself is quite clean, there is a lady clean the place everyday, and the kitchen is quite big and clean. But the owner of the place is very moody and sometimes even rude.
