“Excellent food and service”

This restaurant was our fall-back choice when other, better-known restaurants were full on a Saturday evening, so we went with no expectations of what we would find. It was a very pleasant surprise -- the food was excellent, the service also, and the owner, a charming Italian, came to our table (and to others) to talk about the menu and help us make our decisions (I chose the rabbit -- delicious!) The desserts were equally delightful. Highly recommended! -EJL (Winston-Salem, North Carolina)

“Wonderful food and service”

What a welcome break from tortas, moles, and tacos. The service was wonderful and the food even better. I had a salad that was simply delicious. Don't miss this!

“Good but overrated”

When John Lennon was asked if Ringo Starr was the best drummer in England he replied that he wasn't sure that Ringo was the best drummer in the Beatles, let alone England. The Cafe Bistrot Epicuro is a beautiful restaurant and the service is excellent. The food, however, is good but not great and is very expensive. I don't think Cafe Bistrot Epicuro is the best Italian restaurant in Oaxaca and it is certainly does not deserve to be rated as the best over all.

the restaurant is awesome, the food is delicious and the waiter is a divine person, the owner was always paying attention about every detail I'll visit them again soon
