This restuarant was recommended by a friend for a good wood fired pizza. When we arrived, the place was empty and the lights were dim. As we were about to leave, an older woman beckoned us and asked what we were wanting. We told her the pizza, and she said it wouldn't be a problem, even though the oven was stone cold. We thought they may have had a pizza oven in the kitchen when they were not terribly busy, but, WRONG! After we ordered, someone came out and threw newspaper and kindling into the oven to get it going! This is not a good sign. We ordered a beer that was served, tepid, in a coffee mug and a coke light, the only thing that was good about the whole experience. After about 15 minutes, they threw the pizza into the barely warm oven, with the expected results. Raw, doughy, undercooked, just plain awful. I took it back to the cook and asked for it to be more cooked, but it was too late for this pie. The final insult was the check was incorrect, they tried to overcharge us for the inedible pizza! After some discussion the matter was corrected. There are too many good restaurants in Oaxaca to be bothered with the likes of this place, keep walking!
