Itanoni has a passion for local, native corn and they have the most outstanding tortillias in Oaxaca. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. I only go when I can get there before noon so that the breakfast menu is still available. Favorites are the tinga Tacos and the 3 tostadas. My friends are hooked on the egg platters. open Sundays. Best to take a taxi from the Centro - 40 pesos. you can walk right out of the restaurant about four blocks to the end of the road and catch a city bus to return, or walk.
