“Great museum and interesting architecture.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

The museum spanned all history. The ex convent was a true maze of architecture. Worth the time and money. No strollers allowed though!

A beautiful church and amazing history. Don't miss the museum either! We happened upon a great spanish language tour, and much enjoyed it.

“One of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This church is truly breathtaking. Tall and majestic from the outside, yet you cannot even guess at the beauty inside. The ceiling is very impressive, ornate and detailed.

“Templo Santo Domingo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Guide books hyperbolized this site more than deserved. We found several other cathedrals in the area to be much more interesting and less gaudy.

“An excellent example of Mexican Barroque Architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

When you enter to this Church it is impressing to look all the decoration of the temple, and figure out the time it took to do it in the XVIII century when the constructive technology we have know a days did not existed.
It is worth a visit the church, but try to go early if you want to visit the Chapel of the Virgin of the Rosary as it close early (maybe five or six o'clock)
