“Small, but interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

It is interesting to see and learn about the humble roots of the first native president of Oaxaca. He was apparently taken in by a bookbinder who lived in this house after his parents died when he was 12. You can see what most of the rooms would have looked like back then.

“I'm a regular here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Come here several times a week. Buy fruits and veggies, seeds and nuts, sometimes clothing, or plastic shopping bags. Love the riot of colors, the people, the selection. I don't buy the grasshoppers. Spent lots of time in Oaxaca and still understand their charm.
