“Great Food, Great Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

among the best in Mexico City, Jaso has several outstanding dishes. Try foie gras ravioli, or chicken in heavy cream. IT has a very nice terrace, and for a romantic evening you can reserve the wine cellar for a couple, with a tasting menu that will prove to be amazing.

“A "must" experience in DF!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

What I love about Jaso is that it's a top 3 restaurant in Mexico but doesn't have the pretentious vibe of its peers. The food is inventive and fantastic, the tables on the terrace create a cozy but trendy vibe, and the service welcoming. It continues to serve as my go-to spot for out of towners because it does everything right.

“Nice but far from the best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

The ambiance is really fine neat and contemporary... but the wine list has not so many nice medium price choices and as we were in seven we indicated a wine to the sommelier that came back with other 50%more expensive choice and I consider this a basic mistake ... I have ordered a LOMITO that was a litlle dry and the funny thing is that in the menu it was supposed to come with apple "pure" and mushrooms and indeed came with just some traces of apple decor ....

“El mejor restaurant de México / The best restaurant in Mexico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Chefs JAred and SOnia (JA-SO) graduated from the CIA (no, they're not spies! I mean the Culinary Institute of America). They've worked at Bouley and Jean Georges, both worldwide known iconic restaurants so you can start to imagine the quality and impeccable food you'll be getting at JASO. Highly recommended the "tasting"menu. Just let the maitre know your food restrictions, seat back and enjoy the ride! Jared will take you to a roller coaster of tastes and Sonia will close off the experience with her amazing desserts, and, when you think you're done... Freshly baked madeleines. WAY better food and WAY better service than PUJOL. Besides, who needs the ridiculous PRETENTIOUS ATTITUDE?

“Excellent restaurant find in Mexico City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

We've traveled all over the world and eaten in spectacular restaurants from Napa Valley to Paris France. Jaso would stand up to any of them. The service and food were impeccable.
The atmosphere was serene and inviting. It was our favorite restaurant in Mexico City
