“Speechless. A must go.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

As you enter the restaurant's courtyard you're transported into another epoch in the past.
A beautiful landscape in the chiostro, local musicians accompany fresh amazing flavors. No foodie would be disappointed.

“Totally worth going once”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We went there during our visit to Mexico city, because my mexican friend recommended us. It is pretty pompous place with last century interior. We went at around 4-5 pm, but the place was packed with a lot of extended families dining in no rush. It was a lot of fun to observe the crowd and waiters running around with old-fashion trays. I felt like in an old mexican soup opera. I really enjoyed the whole procedure of several dishes, but the food was ok. Overall it was totally worth going there (even thought kind of pricy) to observe people and tradition interior. As a bonus it is located right by Studio-home of Diego Rivero and Frida Kahlo, that is amazing piece of architecture.

“great location and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Not cheap by Mexican standards but very reasonable after just had a couple of meals in London. Customers seemed to be mainly upper class Mexicans. NOT fast food but in that location who cares.

“Excellent fine Mexican cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

Set in an XVII century Hacienda in south Mexico City, this traditional Fine Mexican restaurant is a must for locals and visitors. Business setting during week days and family setting on the weekends. In September / October, the famous "Chile en nogada" is a must. A non hot green pepper, filled with meat, topped with a walnut sauce. From simple gourmet tacos to a full meal. The bar is a good business atmosphere.

“Classic Mexico at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

Excellent setup, decoration that makes you waiting for Zorro, unbelievable variety of tequilas and top quality Mexican food - of course it is relatively expensive but 100% it deserves it
