“Timeless”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

Great seafood in a 1940s ambience that takes you back in time. A lot of history, many politicians and Central bankers, waiters that havebeen there for decades and some of the best seafood in town.

“Good restaurant downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

Nice place to eat, it looks like a very traditional place. Prices are not that cheap compared to other places downtown, but I had a nice experience.

“Very noisy in a holy day.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

A Fish and Sea food speciality restaurant, located in the historic downtown, Mexico City. Founded in 1936 by a Basque, reason for which part of its international menu are from this speciality. Very good food and service of white table cloth, no formal dressing is required. The ambiance is traditional old and simple, with the touch of family and business atmosphere. Booking is necesary, it can be noisy in special holidays, which means, everybody talking at the same time in every table, makes it difficult to hear your own table conversation.
Otherwise do not skip enjoying the very good food, in your downtown tour.
For meat lovers there is a short menu, good aswell.

“A place loved by locals where you get great Mexican food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

This is a traditional mexican restaurant with great and honest food. You don't come here for the food alone you come here for the Atmosphere as much as you come for the food.

“Locals favorite downtown Mexico City, .”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

After visiting downtown Mexico City's Zocalo, Bellas Artes, Centro Historico, Cathedral, this can be a good stop to try real Mexican food among locals. A mix group of people from politicians and business men to family groups love this restaurant. Try the green seafood soup and the garlic shrimp. Its always crowded and casual.
