“Traditional Mexican”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Simple restaurant with a covered patio. Good device and some of the best authentic regional Mexican cuisine. The spicy orange wedges with mescal , the full bodied sauces, great value.

“Modern Mexican”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

I couldn't believe my luck - I was dining at Azul Condesa during their pipián and mole festival! I had an amazing cream of cilantro soup to start, a spicy and robust chirmol over pork and, just ‘cuz, nicuatole zapoteco for dessert. The kitchen is open so you can watch everything. The waiter responded to all of my Spanish questions in English, which I thought was very charming. A really unique and beautiful meal – a true Mexico City dining experience.

“delicioso”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Wonderful modern place with very authentic takes on traditional food as well as out of the box specials. I'd eat there every day if I lived in DF.

“High end Mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Great option for high end traditional Mexican food in the Condesa neighborhood.
Great selection of Mezcals.
Enjoyed the special Mango-focused menu. Perfect for this time of the year.
Reasonable prices for this level of quality.
Busy on most night, reservations are recommended.

“very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Many Mexican classics prepared with care, flare and precision. Excellent mole and sopas. The tomato sauce in a chile poblano was also remarkable. Spicing was particularly brilliant all round.

The not too large neither too fancy cuisine is open view (from the pleasant room with greenery in front), and the environment is nice. Service was a bit relaxed on a not busy night during the semana santa. Prices are kind for the quality.
