“Good food on a basic ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

This is a good japanese restaurant in Mexico City's Polanco district, with good quality of food, good drinks, and a service a little bit too slow. Noce to stop by as it is quite informal. Laking some sofistication of their cold dishes. Excelent sweet and sour fish

“traditional Japanese food in an amazing environment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Be careful, there is another Tori-Tori close by. You want this one.

The menu is pretty traditional. It is certainly not Nobu. But it is prepared with the utmost care. The fist is very fresh. But the two things that really stand out are the environment and the service. The building has won a number of architectural awards. We sat out side facing a beautiful vertical garden. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Since we do not speak Spanish, the General Manager spent a great deal of time with us making sure we got what ever we wanted. After dinner, he took us on a tour of the facilities. They have a number of rooms but I recommend eating out side.

“Very good Oriental Restaurante”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Great restaurant and great space with different experiences according to the space. The food is excellent, very fresh and delicious . One of my favorites restaurants in México DF. It is not cheap but the food is really good. If you can afford you must go!!!!

“Simply the best Japanese cuisine restaurant in Mexico City!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Maybe that is one of the reasons this people take care of catering on Japan's Embassy receptions in town. Cheffs are japanese and make sure products served are top quality & fresh. Ask for Sonoda and put your self in his hands (ask him serve a tailored taste). If reasons are still not enough the house that hosts the restaurant is a piece of art itself (international awards for architecture & design). Service is good, though may be sometimes slow. Very much of Mexico City elite comes often, so better reserve.

“Sushi delight in green wall oasis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Beautiful Architecture and green walls. Fair price for the fantastic food.
Terrible wine when you order a glass of wine instead of a bottle.
Very good service. I will go back.
Try the banana tart for dessert :-)
