“Best Mexican in Mexico City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Went here for a business lunch with one other colleague. It's on the ground floor of the Hilton. We got here early (about 1:30) to beat the rush. By 2:30 it was totally full, with about 50 people in line out the door. Mexico was playing Brazil, so they set up the game in the main room so people could watch. Nice touch!

Famous people go here, and from the food, it's easy to see why. I had the best chicken mole I've ever had in my life, along with a fantastic tortilla soup and guacamole. The prices were absurdly low. They could easily double the price, and it would still be a good value.

The service was excellent - very attentive, without being pushy. They tuned the pace to our American desires (a little faster, please) but were in no way trying to get us out the door. Nicely done!

Just go. Go early to beat the rush, and enjoy.

“Best mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

If you travel to Mexico City you must have breakfast here. Bread is fresh out if the oven and you'll find both traditional and exotic mexican dishes. The hot chocolate is delicious. Make a reservation in advance.

“The best breakfest in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

When you see a place with a long line of rather chic gentlemen in ties and grey suites waiting for the restaurant to open at 8:00a, it looks strange. But when at ten past 8:00 the place is full (!) of rather upscale crowd, they must be doing something right - well, it is for sur the best breakfast in town and clearly among the best breakfast full stop. You have got everything - all possible fresh fruit juices, three pages of different eggs (by the way, simple Mexican style were very good) and absolutely delicious basket of or rolls, breads and other cakes. Kind of breakfast that last full day, no need for lunch !

You need to book if you are going there early. Speaking Spanish helps a lot when ordering as well :-). Also, be careful, as there are several places with same name in town so check the address before.
