The original Pied de Cochon at Les Halles in Paris is a tourist trap. Its daughters, like this one at the InterContinental hotel in Mexico City, is a gastronomic destination. Great cuisine, including many of the Paris signature dishes; warm, beautiful décor (although it looks a bit too 'nouveau'); attentive service. We were invited to see the cellar, run by distinguished sommelier Dom Pedro, to admire prized labels, such as DRC, Pétrus, Screaming Eagle, etc
