“Very friendly staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

The hotel is very basic, you get what you pay. I like the location of the hotel. It's just a walking distance to zocalo squares ( the heart of Mexico City). The staff is very accommodating especially Rafa. But if you plan to stay all day in your hotel instead of exploring Mexico City, you might not be happy of their hotel coz it's just a basic hotel.

Great location, very poor quality hotel experience for the price. The room was drab, although it was clean. Breakfast was poorly organized and messy. Go elsewhere! There's plenty of great air bnb places in this city that will help you enjoy your time in the city much more.

This was a basic hotel, in a super central location, but I would have had trouble finding it without some very nice locals who helped me. The breakfast was basic but the view of the cathedral was nice. When I was checking out to go to the airport I asked the man at the desk a question about the metro and he got a map up on his computer, then gave me stop by stop instructions on getting to where I needed to go.

This hotel has only two things going for it: location and price... The rooms however are as simple as they get... If you are planning to spend time in the room other than crashing at night, then this hotel is not for you... The staff was helpful...

This hotel was the worst ever! Staff was really rude and did not know anything about the nearby area. Rooms were filthy and smelly and there was no heating in the rooms. You can hear almost everything and the beds were really uncomfortable.

Room Tip: Dont book this hotel!

Although it is located very few steps away from the Zocalo - do yourself a favor and don't stay there! You can hear EVERY single thing other people do - either in their room (...), in toilets and from the surroundings.
Breakfast was most poor, coffee was the worst I had in my life, the towels were stinky and smelly, the room was tiny and NO AC nor fan.

ON THURSDAY 09/26/2013 AND FRIDAY 09/27/2013 the water in the bathroom started to turn dark brown from the hot water in the shower and even from the cold water and even when you flushed the toilet the water was dark brown and even the water from the sink both hot and cold was brown....the worst thing is and was the staff said they think/hope it will be fixed by Saturday 09/28/2013 6am...but they did not offer any bottled drinking water so we could at least brush our teeth with clean water...and or at least to have some drinking water....we had to ask....and when asked...they did not have any bottled water to offer guest...and they had to go next door to 7/11 and buy bottled for us....and they acted like it was not a big deal or like it was not a problem...and the front desk staff said it was going to be fixed in 15 minutes just after he does his computer work and then goes and fixes the problem remember this problem was going for like two days not able to shower in morning and or at night.....and guess what it was not fixed in 15 minutes still dark brown water coming out as of 09/27/2013 11pm.....
