“Good facilities and service for the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Good: The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the wifi internet connection good. Central location, with a number of restaurants nearby and equidistant between Chapultapec Park and El Centro Historico.

Bad: The room got slightly (but only slightly) too hot during the day, despite an open window. The in-house restaurant (apart from breakfast) was disappointing.

Overall, no frills but good value for money.

This is a 3*** very good hotel, excellet value for the money, I paid around $45 USD.
Rooms are nice, excellent clean and firm bed, bathrooms a bit small. The iternet did not work, but you can use their computers at the lobby for free. Breakfast was good ( not that big), but enought.
Location is excellet 2 blocks from zona rosa, there is a hospital on the same block, in case you get sick beacuse of altitude. lots of restaurants in the area, also good shops i zoa rosa.

good value for the money

Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in DF. The price, location, and cleanliness are second only to the staff. Everyone here is very hospitable and eager to help with directions or planning a tour. Ordered room service late night, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning....both very good. Zona Rosa, Roma, and Juarez neighborhoods are all within walking distance. Reforma is also just blocks. Condessa, downtown, Polanco, San Angel are all a short taxi ride away. Great experience overall. Can't wait to pay them another visit. Thanks Principado (especially Dan) and DF for your gracious hospitality.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was an excellent experience. The location is great, and the staff are super helpful and friendly. We felt very safe during our stay.

Our rooms faced the main street and the noise level was quite comfortable at night.

Of course, this is not a five-star hotel. But for the price it offers great value and I would recommend it to everyone.

So I keep going back to this hotel, my last stay was only 3 nights, because it is in a great location and neighborhood. Kinda Zona Rosa. The room are basic but very clean and have all that you need. bed was great. The staff to me is the best part. All of them go out of their way to help and answer any questions. Almost all the desk staff speaks english. Alberto the doorman is a gem. I know the breakfast buffet is good. Did not do it this last trip. Someone mentioned no AC which is normal for DF because more cold nights than warm. My rooms have always had a portable fan in them. You cant beat the price. Thank you Principado see you in May

We stayed at this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were less than impressed and felt that it was WAY over-rated. The positives about the hotel are: 1) good price, 2) clean, and 3) friendly service. The negatives are: 1) No air conditioning, 2) the room had an unpleasant odor, 3) the mattress was very uncomfortable, 4) it was loud throughout the night with a door repeatedly being closed loudly on a semi-regular basis until about 2 a.m., 5) the restaurant's food was very bad. I ordered a steak (cooked medium) with mushroom sauce. The steak was way over cooked and tasted like leather. I then made the mistake of ordering cheese cake for dessert. I didn't think it was possible, but it tasted worse than the steak. It was very old, hard, and dried out. I only took a total of one bite out of it and told the waiter that it was very bad and that he could take it away....as I suspected, they still charged me for it.

It was a rough night with only getting maybe 2 hours of sleep due to the room being hot, the uncomfortable mattress, and the door continually to be closed loudly throughout the night. I would have gladly paid twice that much for a decent night's sleep.

This hotel has great location! Some minutes from the important places of interests in Mexico City, the central street and very near from the subway. But despite of it is located in quiet district where very seldom cars riding. Quiet nice-looking small streets with blossoming azaleas are called on names of the European cities.

Hotel rooms are big enough with a big bed and all conveniences. On the first floor there is a restaurant with the good cook. On a reception sympathetic people are always ready to help.

In hotel there is a Wi-Fi and it is possible to use the computer in a special hall
