Suites Ganges is good value for the money. They offer a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen in a relatively upscale tree-lined neighbourhood of Mexico City. The street itself isn't the greatest, but there are lots of restaurants nearby, and there is a convenience store on the corner as well. It is also within walking distance of Chapultepec Park and the famous Anthropology Museum.
There were a few service issues during our two night stay that could have been better. The room safe was locked, so I asked the fellow on duty to open it so we could use it. He said he'd fix it in an hour, but he never did. Staff also didn't replace the water bottles we used, and the sound of the chatting and laughing of the staff downstairs really echoes up the hard-surface stairs and hallways. Other than that, it was really quiet. On the other hand, staff were helpful in giving us directions.
The bathroom was modern and nice with a good shower area. Some hooks for towels etc would be handy though. The bed was not big and a slightly hard, but still fine. Overall, we liked Suites Ganges. With a few fixes, this could be an excellent hotel.
