Looks like just a french-style café, but I have to say that I rarely met this level of service and food quality in France or other places. Truly french atmosphere, great service and perfect croissant, cappuchino, pancake and tea!

“Great find for a nice snack and coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012 via mobile

Skip the starbucks! Great coffee and great value close to the Palacio de Bellas Artes and to the Metropolitan theater. Their sandwiches are much better than a fast food joint, and their noisette bread is just wonderful.

“Great Little French Cafe in Historic Mexico City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

Okay, so this isn't exactly in the Centro Historico, but it's close. It's just near the Juarez subway stop on Independencia. My wife and I stopped here after a long day touring the pyramids at Teotihuacan. We wanted something cheap, quick, and satisfying, and were really, really surprised to find this little culinary gem. She ordered a crepe that was probably the closest I've had since being in Paris, and I had a panini with cheese melted so perfectly that I could pull it for half a mile before it broke off from the bread. It was really great--and cheap! Stop by if you need a snack.
