Rumor had it that when dawdling about at the Mexico City airport, a fine meal could be had at Casa Avila. Airport food? Bleary-eyed travelers wolfing down a Sbarro's pizza while trundling to a boarding line? Na-uh. Well, Liz and I had six hours to kill and had the requite bleary eyes after a red-eye from TJ. What we experienced was a moderately priced, inviting atmosphered, comfortable breakfast at Casa Avila. We were pampered, invited to lounge as long as we wanted and served an excellent breakfast.
