Unfortunately this is a missed opportunity for a good review on behalf of Hotel Brick. While I had reservations to stay at this property in Mexico City last week, I was surprised to arrive at it and find it to be closed by the City for an undisclosed reason. Evidently I was bummed out about it since I had read so many great reviews on this property and was looking forward to staying there. I was able to find an alternative hotel nearby on my own and went about my biz in Mexico City. The only thing I'd like to complain about is the fact that the hotel had been closed for almost a week before I arrived and I received no calls advising me of the matter. They called me 2 days after my unwelcoming arrival at the property. In my world, that's is very poor customer service despite of the problems they were going through. Anyway, the property looked nice from the outside and it is located in a great area of Mexico City. This incident will not deter me from considering staying there again on my next trip to Mexico but I will definitely evaluate other options before booking it.
