“best museum ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

The history of ancient Mexico is perfectly displayed in this huge complex. Walking through it and seeing the exhibit is mind boggling and breathtaking. The skills and arts of Mayas, Aztecs, Toltec’s etc. are beyond belief. Unfortunately there is no way to take everything in in one day. The upper floor with the more folkloristic displays would have deserved a longer visit but we just caught a glimpse because we were exhausted after 4 hours of ancient history. This was the best museum we ever visited and well worth the entrance fee of 59 Pesos p. P.
The restaurant offers a variety of food at a very good price taken the location into consideration.

“Must go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

This is one of the best museum I've visited. There are 24 exhibition rooms that you could spend whole week to explore. Unfortunately with tour, we only have 2 hours but still we enjoy it a lot.

Check out the gift store, it is also a fun place. The museum itself contain great information and you could stay here for a long time to explore around.

“Great but overwhelming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

The museum has a lovely layout with thousands of artifacts and reconstructions from all over the world. Great if you're interested in anthropology, but also overwhelming at times; I didn't even know where to start.

“unique”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

The museography is unique in the way that the exhibits are displayed. Most of them are not behind glass and this provides the visitor with a perfect view of the most smallest details. The halls are sufficient size, which means that you never feel over crowded even when there are serveral large groups visiting at the same time.
