Thank you very much for your sincere comments and I apologize for not meeting your expectations. If there is any chance, and time, for you to be more specific as to where we failed you. Either this same via or my direct email is ricardo.acevedo@fourseasons.com. I really enjoyed my stay. From the shower to the bed to the hotel ambience. And the restaurants were fantastic too. I highly recommend.

As a business traveller one a one night stand it was truly wonderful to look out the window at the magnificent courtyard when I arrived and to enjoy breakfast there the next morning. A big comfortable room (and the windows even work!). Far better than the Intercontinental.

The best service, friendly helpful staff, most comfortable beds, and you can still open the windows! What a treat! We stayed there when it opened (1995??) and it has kept its standard ever since..remarkable in itself. Highly recomendable, like an Oasis in an
overcrowded,nervous City.

Room Tip: Rooms to the Garden ,Even though the Restaurant is al fresco, its quiet.

Thank you for your kind review. Curiously, the opening General Manager of this property has retired in SMA and may be your neighbor!

I have stayed in many hotels in Mexico City and this hotel stands-out for its service, professionalism, location, and beauty. This was my 12th trip to Mexico City (my second staying at the Four Seasons) and the concierge introduced me to new neighborhoods, restaurants and museums. Service is impeccable. I've never written one of these reviews, but felt the need to after this experience.

Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City TAXIS OVER CHARGE YOU. For a three block taxi trip. The Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City allows their taxis - Hotel Taxis - to charge us tourists a fee of $180.00 Mexican Pesos, which is 5 - five times - more than a regular taxis fare is allowed to charge under Mexican Law.

These taxis think that us, American Citizens are kind of mental retarded.

I was distressed to read your email and i am sorry that your stay with us was damaged by your experience with the taxis, which are assigned by the local authorities and the corresponding taxi union.
Indeed, they have different fees based on your destination. the minimum fare is mx$150 and so on.
Evidently they are more expensive than those you catch in the street but they offer you not only better comfort but more importantly, security. we don´t have control on the regular taxis. those assigned to the hotel, though not our employees, we know who they are and are trustworthy.
i will certainly share your concern with the taxi union as it is important for them to know the valid concerns of our valuable guests.
And rest assured that it has nothing to do with being local or a foreigner. I pay the same rate when taken home. No discount....
Sincerely.

Literally steps from Chapultepec Park, the Four Seasons is one of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere in the world. The rooms are bright, airy, clean, modern and luxurious. Perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

The service is superb. The staff really goes out of their way to accommodate your needs (even went so far as going around the corner to grab some tamales I was looking for). The courtyard is beautiful and a wonderful respite from a busy city.

On behalf of all of us we thank you for your kind review and we are pleased that your stay was a pleasant experience. On the Tamale issue, I fully understand, as I buy them myself in the same place. They are amazing!
