“A most see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

If you love art, this is one of the things that you most do!
The university was declared as a World Herritage Site.
A prehispanic architecture is reflected on its construction and you can admire the artwork from some of the greatest artists from Mexico during the 1930´s and 50´s.
Go for a walk through this beautiful campus and bring you cámara, I bet you´ll will enjoy the place.

This city was at first the dream of an inmigrant form Lebanon, and turned a reality 50 yaers ago. Don´t miss the football stadium, the architectural space, the modern art museum, the main building, and the volcanic rocks and gardens, courtesy of the Ajusco Volcano.

“nothing special, at least for us”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

afte getting out from metro station Universitate, we took the bus rout nb.1, and we get of arround architectonical faculty.. Or something similar, then small walk is needed and you will find Campus.. Honestly its not very special for us, coz we do have many of this kind of things- smaller of course in post komunstic contries, and i have to say we do not like it so much. Then you can go to Olympic stadium, and visit contemporary art museum, and that is about it,,, i am not sure if it is really worth to travel so long way... But its just mine opinion...

“UNAM impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

As parent of a recently graduated UNAM student, I have been many times to this impressive campus, a city within a city but this is first time found it on trip advisor to review. The campus is spread out such so that the metro as well as bus routes all go to in, travel in it! The main buildings have some impressive art work by some of Mexico's most famous artists. Lots of green spaces, and in all my visits, always folks enjoying the outdoors, playing football or Frisbee, having their dogs with them.. Lots of families too... Nice green spot at the south of the city... besides offering students an excellent education. UNESCO site for a reason!

“Outstanding murals in buildings in the main campus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013 via mobile

The university worths a quick visit, all major murals are located in the main campus. Take metro line 3 and get off at Universidad (1/2 hour from the city center). Then hop on a Puma Bus no. 1 or no. 5 (free, running on weekdays) and get off at the main campus. Take your time wander around, students are nice, friendly and helpful!
