“Nice hotel but Wifi was terrible”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Great location, service and security. Hotel is in the Federal district, which seems to be the safest and nicest part of Mexico City. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was so-so. The in-room wifi was very weak.

Booked a tour of the pyramids through the concierge and it was very good.

Room Tip: The one bedroom suites are spacious.

It located in commercial area & 10 min walk from metro station. Never travel during peak hr no matter in taxi, metro or car.
We were welcomed by a glass of VC champagne during check in process which we felt delighted. Everything are as expected - good services, nice room, hotel amenities with good quality, good restaurant in town. I love the fine mexican food at Diana and enjoy the live music in King Cole.
However, we experienced sth shouldn't be happened in others Regis - 1. every 2nd reminder is required in house keeping services; 2. Concierge pointed us to wrong station travel to pyramid;3. we were waken up by some musics & noises on Sunday morning 6:40am outside hotel building where we stayed at 10/F.
St Regis is always our 1st choice but this Regis is not in our top list.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking some minutes to give us your feedback. We are honored you could enjoy of St. Regis’ traditions at Mexico City. We will definitely take actions to improve the impression left by the housekeeper. About city activities, we will reinforce this information, for guest’s awareness, as Mexico City has a vast program of marathons, bicycle activities and public music concerts during weekends.

All the employees really care to give their best in service.

Fast check in with a glass of Champagne.

From the street level to the lobby on the 2nd floor they have a nice exhibition of paintings.

I stayed for two nights.

We spent here a Friday afternoon-night celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. We chose this hotel because its the newest and the best. I mentioned the reason of our stay and there was a red rose petal heart on the floor of the room as well as fresh red roses in a vase in our room. First we went down to have lunch, then spent a couple of hours at the spa: took a steam bath, a couple massage, swam and went up to the room. We woke up with breakfast in bed while watching the final football match of the olimpic games Mexico-Basil when Mexico became the winner!!! We left with a big smile. it was class A pampering!!!

Dear Hilda,

We are truly honored being part of such an anniversary. Congratulations on your first 21 years together. We would like to say we prepared the gold medal for you but is not true, although the petals and breakfast are a way to indulge you and every couple during honeymoons or anniversaries. We truly hope to keep leaving you with a big smile during the next years, and hopefully become part of your memorable traditions,

Warmest Regards,

This is an excellent hotel with a real emphasis on service from the moment that you arrive, the whole hotel has a special feel to it with excellent rooms, great bathrooms with a TV in the mirror and very attentive staff. I very much enjoyed my two night stay particularly when checking out at 4.00am for an early morning flight I was provided with a latte and orange juice on departure. A great example of how service should be!

The St. Regis is an elegant top-notch hotel with everything you would expect from a modern five star place (impeccable service, wonderful spa, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great view, attention to details, butler service...).

Located right on Reforma (the city's central avenue) one can walk to the Chapultepec park and the neighborhoods of Polanco, Roma and Condesa with their shops, bars and restaurants galore. Easily accessible as well is the city's historic center.

Our personal favorite is the Sunday brunch on the terrace of the Diana restaurant, hands-down the best in town, especially since the new F&B manager has taken over.

If there is a downside then perhaps that you can somewhat hear the street noise, but in a city of 22 million people you can hardly blame the hotel. What does suck big time though is that they charge heavily for internet access.

We have stayed here three times so far and will certainly return if we need a hotel in DF.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on one of the higher floors – less street noise and better views

a very good experience. We stayed only 1 night in this hotel.
Champagne veuve Cliquot was served at arrival. a butler is personally asigned as well. Thus the service is exceptional.
decoration is standard, modern but not so much and confortable.
There is a indoor swimming pool with a nice view
The location is not perfect though for tourist because a bit far from sites, shopping and historical center. The concierge advised very good restaurants.
The grill restaurant is very good and not expensive.
