“Fine Dining!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Les Moustaches was a superb example of a fine dining
experience.

Service is impeccable!

We started wit french onion soup and a salad.
Both were excellent!

The main dishes are out of this world. The duck is the
best I have had in recent memory.

The beef was fantastic too! The sauce was tasty but
not overpowering. The beef was cooked perfectly
to order.

We did not have any room left for dessert but those
that passed by our table looked very good.

“Lots of Mustaches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

Went here for dinner the other night. The interior is well decorated, and I had fun counting the pieces of silverware that were placed on and removed from the table throughout the meal. The garlic calamari were flavorful but salty. The spinach salad was pretty good, however I doubt I'll remember it in a month. My dining partner's duck was divine. My beef wellington was tasty and gave me an almost strenuous mandibular workout. The best part of the meal was the pistachio soufflé. Had I been wearing socks, it probably would have knocked them off and made the other elegantly-dressed diners stare.

The reason why I don't give Les Moustaches a five star review is because of what appear to be discriminatory hiring practices. I asked my waiter if it was part of the job to have a mustache and he said yes. I then asked him if the female waiters had to have mustaches too, and he said they didn't hire female waiters.

“Classic French restaurant in a nice retro decoration”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

the best part of "Les Moustaches" is indeed the excellent staff and the attention. The food is OK, but don;t expect a 4 star michelin. It's good but it's not the best french cuisine you'll ever have.
an enjoyable place however.

“Good memories of France when eating at Les Moustaches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

I went to a business meeting in Mexico City and stayed at Marriott Reforma, and when making decision of where to have dinner I found in Tripadvisor Les Moustaches. I called for reservation on a Tuesday night and one of the administrators answer my call to let me know that they were close that night, but he offered a reservation for the following day.
The next day I arrived and asked for my reservation and I was received in an outstanding way by offering me a welcome cocktail from the manager that made the reservation the night before, offering his apologies for not being there.
With that nice start, I requested the menu and had a traditional onion soup, very well prepared. I had roasted duck with red fruits that was excellent and with a glass a red wine that was recommended according by the chef.
So, if you are looking for nice place to wind off an accelerated day in Mexico City and have a memorable dinner that takes you in your memories to France, Les Moustaches is the place.

“French tradition in Mexico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Starting from the private parking of the restaurant, the hostess who receive you, the elegant decoration, the waiters, the sommelier represent a good beginning. We had different courses typically from France as appetizers, like "Soupe a l'oignon", foie gras and as main course meat of different kinds, every thing were perfect and succulent.
A great place to enjoy a wonderful lunch.
