On a romantic vacation to Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque. On another referral from TripAdvisor went to this charming restaurant in the middle of a thundering downpour. The melted cheese with red pepper appetizer was enough for dinner, but we ordered HUGE steaks, anyway. They arrived perfectly cooked, and the meat? It was so tender, I simply laid my knife on it, and the knife cut the huge rib-eye effortlessly. Perfect steak. Period.

If you have a hankering for a great piece of beef, look no further. They will bring a tray of cuts to your table and explain what they are. You tell them how much you want. It will appear done to perfection. The fries come in two varieties, regular and waffle cut and the steaks are served with a house salad. Great value for the price. Good service, ambience nice.

Very flavorful and generous cuts of steak. This place is as good or better than steak houses in Buenos Aires. Very good selection of Argentinian wines, as well as Chilean, US, etc. Empanadas are great, and the salchicha de chorizo served with chimichurri sauce and warm homemade corn tortillas is awesome. Service is always excellent, and the ambiance is great. This restaurant is very well priced for the level of food and service, and is a must-visit when I am in Guadalajara.

This restaurant has exceptional food and great service. The appetizers are also great, especially the grilled artichoke and salads. The entrées are huge and definitely can be shared, or half taken home. It is just north of Vallarta right before the arches. Easy to find and they have valet parking.
